Today, I pulled out the GoPro at Mactan Newtown here in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. My wife and daughter joined me on this video.
We discovered the Mactan Newtown Beach Resort, and we also stopped off for dinner at the Kobi-Q Korean/Japanese BBQ restaurant.

Yes this is the best idea for Mactan.. make it an urban development. The rocky soil there doesn't for any agriculture. Even beaches have mix of rocks ad sands.

glad I came across this video. I'll be staying at the Mactan condo's there in sept of this year. I was curious how to get to the beach and you literally videotaped it. awesome. I am looking forward to the christmas holiday festivals they have there . I'll be there for at least 9 months, maybe more. I am retired and excited in some new adventures. I'm still working on my bucket list. the only one I'll probably not do is sky diving. hahaha.

We were with friends in a van for hire, passed by this place going to the Battle Of Mactan Monument. Had we known about these places you featured here, we would have surely stopped by. The Korean BBQ place looks kind of interesting. Thanks for exploring these places for us, I enjoyed watching.

Love Mactan New Town
Mactan-Newtown Blgd One Cluster one is infested with rats in the ceilings, and many of the AirBnB units have roaches. If the maintenance crew answers your questions truthfully, you'll seek other places to stay. Mactan-Newtown is a prime example of what may look good in the Philippines, which is not always as it seems.

i like this better than BGC a lot smaller and more laid back lifestyle and you can buy a ocean view condo and they have abeach too.
I totally agree, plus you can jump on a nearby ferry and experience the islands like Bohol, Camotes and Bantayan. Thanks for watching 👍
BGC is unbeatable it is far more developed with good pavements of asphalt road with nice marking, ultra modern highrise buildings and the overall environment is really similar to Miami or Singapore. Mactan NT. is just nice in a good way it is a developed area of LapuLapu City while in CEBU CITY they have IT and Business Park both are quite huge compared to Mactan NT.

MIAMI AND SINGAPORE? NOPE..BGC has no Beach...Mactan Newtown is better since it has beach even if it is small.... Mactan Newtown is also near to the airport and luxurious beach of Mactan...BGC, albeit more luxurious, cannot beat that

I think I.T. Park or Cebu Business Park is more of a mini BGC than Matan Newtown. MNT is so small.
Yes, I agree. But Newtown still isn't finished, they have big plans so who knows in the future.
