It must be nice to receive a electronic device pro bono for doing a TH-cam review. After making that statement, I find your video review very informative, honest and to the point (unlike a certain Jeep driver).
I like my 20g. A very quick learning curve and of course like 2nd hand stated a no brainer to get the 935g. My closet repeater at 48 miles is an easy hit with it. Voice quality is good. I do have to hold the mic fairly close though to get people to hear me well. Yes, it is on wide band. I was in law enforcement 20 years and have used radios a lot. Some hold close, some not so much. So it's just something I had to get use to. I use the Midland MXTA26 antenna with a great SWR reading. Great stuff. Thanks for the review.
I have one and already got a replacement mic as there is no sound, just a crackle coming out when the. Menu is set to speaker 1and2. Is your mic speaker working?
I am shopping for a mobile GMRS radio. Obviously the Wouxun is a lot better than the Radioddity models, but is it worth twice as much for “most people”?
I think the biggest difference between the two that would push me into the KG-XS20G is the frequency/tone storage. If you don't need more than 9 extra on top of the standard 8 repeater channels, most people would do fine with the DB-20G. That being said, if you do find yourself moving around a lot and needing to store more combinations, the KG-XS20G is worth it.
@@clydeosterhout1221 Everyone overlooks the BTECH line of GMRS radios. They have two very nice, reasonable priced models (a 20 watt model with all controls on the handset and a 50 watt model). Both are key pad programmable or computer programmable and both have programmable VHF/UHF receivers built in (includes all NOAA WX channels) and FM broadcast receive. They also have a very nice handheld! You should check them out. No, I don't work for or have any interests in BTECH in any way except for the fact that I own and use their radios.

That is the fastest unboxing I have ever seen.......open the box and dump it on the table..........durability test....check!
Hey, if it can't survive a slap on the table, we got some problems!

How is possible expand frequencies? At least in rx...
Where can i mount this on my 2018 4Runner??
Can I program my local fire and Ems. On this radio I’m a firefighter and would like to monitor them? Thanks
Yes, provided you guys are still using an analog UHF or VHF system. If you’ve already migrated to a digital system, this will not monitor it.
Got it free...nice

Will the xs20g mount in the ashtray area on 3rd gen 4Runner?
No, the hump on it is too tall
Matt…..are you in Arizona….?
Yes, I am!
Everyone does reviews. Do you ever do an actual this is how you use the radio. Like how to scan or program or changing repeater channels ETC.
What does one need to do to receive a reply?
