I'm a ROS fan but I admire Mark's sportsmanship.Appears very genuine in his appreciation of opponents game in defeat & victory alike. His game is definitely different from everyone else's as he plays shots others wouldn't think of playing.A true Gentleman imo.
I agree as well. I'm a fan of Ronnie O'Sullivan, but if he loses to Mark Williams, it wouldn't bother me at all. Williams is also a fantastic player with a wide range of shots and impressive safety skills, as you and I both know.
Greatest single ball potter of all time, and his chilled demeanor round the table is remarkable and is up there with another class of 92 member in John Higgins. 👀😁😊.
William’s been a favourite of mine when it comes to safety shots leaves a lot of players flustered and frames are a hell of a lot interesting than a clearance (clearances are still by far the most impressive in the game but safety & snookers are more interesting to watch)
12:33 Here you can see the digital display under the table. This display tells the temperature of the table which is controlled by heaters, which keep it at the perfect temperature according to the environment of the venue. If a snooker table wasn’t heated and was left to survive on its own throughout the course of a tournament then it would inevitably become too cold and damp to play on. It would also cause quite an uneven surface. The usual temperature is kept at 50 degree celcius, but this heat, by the time it reaches the table slate and the baize, is about 20 to 21 degree celcius which is the optimum for playing conditions. :)) Thank you for the video Cesar. :))
@@nickllama5296 Most welcome. To be honest, I too did not know about it until a few years back. I had to ask a few people and had to Google search for it. :)
I've been watching (and playing) snooker for well over 45 years and I've not seen anyone in that time who plays the table the way Ronnie does. That first yellow to split the pink and black is just outrageous but he does stuff like that so often. There was a blue he played in the mixed doubles where he ended up splitting the pink and black and the way he played it was the only possible way it could have turned out perfectly to release both colours and finish on a simple red. He is an absolute genius at geometry. No-one before has ever had such complete control over the entire table. Everyone else plays to split reds when they need them open, Ronnie plays to open the black on the first possible opportunity. He is absolutely unique.
THE KING FOREVER
That safety from Williams into the yellow from the middle of the pack was excellent. To escape from all those reds and not leave your opponent much of an opportunity was fantastic
What a match... watched it live when it was played but what an absolute pleasure it was watching it all over again there, knew the result but still had me gripped like I hadn't seen it before. Love Ronnie and respect how good Mark is absolute brilliant game of snooker from both of them🎉🎉🎉
Two things: - What a great match! Loved the potting in this, from both players - The famous new chalk, `that has gotten rid of kicks - I'm very glad that element of the game is gone. It was a stupid period in snooker, that small chunks of chalk could murder the point of contact and throw the ball straight. Good riddance to kicks, thanks to new chalk tech! Cesar, you're the tip-top of editing. Thanks, yet again, so much, for your hard work. Much love from Ireland.. 👍🙏
==== SPOILERS ==== Mark Williams has always been such a great competitor and a delightful gentleman, but Ronnie is just so difficult to get past....... a thoroughly entertaining match, many thanks for another great upload Cesar!
The difference between 2016 against 2018 mark Williams is amazing. You can see In his eyes that he’s watching for it to go in. Whereas now he knows it’s going in. Sightright doing him good 👍
I'm also a R.O.S. fan and like Mark as well. He is not a player to be taken lightly. I enjoy watching him play, and he deserves to be listed with one of the great pool players and a great sportsman.
Because of the risk of committing a push stroke (where the cue is still in contact with the cue ball while it hits the object ball). This applies to backspin as well.
❤ again a nice game between two players I love it I just love watching it that game could have gone either way Mark Williams was hitting the ball too hard just my opinion good game
When you hit a cue ball with the cue usually part of the chalk remains on the white ball, in this case this "chalked part" makes contact with the black ball which makes the contact between both balls not clean and causes a miss, this is called a "kick" and we usually know when it happens because the cue ball jumps a little bit on contact. This video is from 2016, nowadays a new brand of chalk is used which makes kicks less common, but Judd Trump and Ronnie still use the old chalk as far as I know
The yellow triangle next to the players' names is quite helpful since the camera angle doesn't always tell me who is shooting. But it could be more helpful if the triangle turned red when the player is trying to hit a red ball, but can stay yellow when the player is trying to hit a coloured ball.
Commentators and ex players on O’Sullivan …….”one of the best break builders in the game” or “his strength is his positional play” or “his speed of thought is one his greatest strengths “ or “one of the greatest shot makers there is” How about just admitting O’Sullivan is the all round greatest snooker player of all time?

Hey man, which cue you've got? Could you share a good store or a Cue-brand to me?
Thank you!
Yes absolutely i echo the sentiment.Pure genius on snooker table...Lucky to have derived pleasure watching Ronnie playing for 40 odd years.
Brilliant editing. Perfect. The commentary is vital to snooker and the sound and vision matches beautifully here. Spot on old bean!

Some snooker matches can be boring to watch but this is one of the most interesting I have ever watched.. thanks buddy..
A great mat h to be sure. But also excellent pacing with the editing.
Mark williams is an fantastic player. Worthy opponent
Ronnie makes it look so easy! Without a doubt “Greatest of all time” ❤️
Really like the way you keep the commentary flowing. most snooker channels make A balls of that. No pun intended X
Terrific match. Thanks Cesar.
Thanks Mr Muroya! Watch this match with a great pleasure Love Ronnie and love your videos very much! ❤❤❤
I'd really like to see Williams win another world championship. Great player and such a nice bloke.

Fantastic match Cesar, thanks for giving this wonderful video
Wow the bravery to go for the plant in the decider, Mr Williams what a player , regardless of win or lose
What a match from two legends and brilliant editing, much appreciated!
Thank you again for such brilliant and entertaining content.
This must have taken ages to edit. Its done brilliantly i might add. Ive subbed and look forward to more amazing edits of snooker hopefully 👍🏴

Great video, really well edited, thank you!
I think that even 50 or more years from now he'll STILL be acknowledged to be the best player in the history of the game.
What a thrilled ride to be on. Very dramatic deciding frame. It's always fun to see legends becoming opponents

Mark is a GENTLEMAN in sports and I am very sure in life
Ronny is the greatest snooker players I have seen up to now
Personality, politeness and humour matters as much to me as skill when it comes to my admiration, so I admire Ronnie, but I adore Steve Davis.
Both these guys are exciting to watch.
Nice edit work
Best match ever! ❤
Snooker = Ronnie 💖💖💖😍😍😍
The Ronnie magic evident right away
Спасибо, Цезарь, за потрясающие ролики ! Для меня Рональд О'Салливан в снукере - Лео Месси в футболе ! Спасибо !
What does he mean at @ 2:44 when he says the red was "too close" to apply top spin? Why would thatbe a problem?
Because of the risk of committing a push stroke (where the cue is still in contact with the cue ball while it hits the object ball). This applies to backspin as well.
38:28 What did referee say when William playing Yellow Ball ?
Ronny is the GOAT imo. Love to see his magic
Masterpiece 😊

Dignity, resignation, determination, and possibly - at the back of their minds - enjoyment! Man did these guys choose the right career! J .
I’d like them both to win

Astonishing
روني وليام كلاهما ابطال عملاقين من عمالقة السنوكر
My heart stopped on the 9th frame at 50 each...!!!!
He’s undeniably the best snooker player ever, but sometimes it feels like he could take a shit on the table and people would clap and cheer.
Yeah the clapping is irritating
what do they mean when they say "he got a kick" 27:35

There's nothing better in the whole of sport than watching O'Sullivan in full flow. It's not just genius it's mesmerising.
1:13:10 🔥🔥🔥
Ronnie is always champions of champion
The shot at 13:50 was nice.
Not too shabby for a last 16 match.. :)
How is a miscue a foul ? If the cue ball came off the rail and contacted the black wouldn't that be good?
13:51 It certainly was lucky, but I‘m sure both saw the possible kick shot to the middle
Goat sullivan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
1:34 - Ronnie confusing everyone
45:40 - A beautiful black

20:40.. even ronnie misscue😂😂😂
I remember watching it live! I can imagine no other player than Mark who would have played it.
Wrong and costly shot!
41:10 - We'll never know what the boys in the studio said.
I wrongly heard "as the boys ...said" rather than "and as ..." :)
Anyway, the boys said that that would benefit Mark.

26:29 , Ronnie
This was a great match!!!!!!
Why did Ronnie concede frame 3 after mark missed the yellow? Looked like Ronnie could have put the yellow in and still cleared up.
Classic.
20:40
Just mw or this bid is all over the place and incoherent as far as timeline?
I always take my practice game to table, my practice game just happens to be crap.
Apparently a "jump" shot of the cue ball is a foul. Didn't know that.
Good to see you here bro
It’s only a foul if it jumps over another ball. Otherwise it’s not a foul just an annoying thing that’ll happen to everyone
But just a note, you are allowed to jump the object ball over another ball
@@skylinedevo you can even jump the cue ball over other balls but only after it contacts the object ball
That shot at 42:32 to scatter the reds. HFS. Sublime
