I just finished making a new video describing the items I used for this fight as well as giving a few tips. Please give it watch if you're interested. Thanks as always for your time!
@@marcoboij This is my second playthrough of FFXV. So I beat Omega in my first playthrough and obtained the rare metal. Then I started my second playthrough with all my items and abilities including the rare metal.
@@zacharysims7443 yeah normally i wouldnt mind but idk ffxv combat was kinda flawed, you couldnt do much to avoid damage especially when it comes to the rest of your party so you always had to spam potion, thats not fun to watch or play
Add the black hood accessory from the pitioss ruins. Automatically dodges attack..it also depends which direction you evade too. You just gotta be nice at the game and know what to do
This fight took me about 50 minutes on my first playthrough. On my second playthrough it was about 15 minutes, and this video shows it can be done in as fast as 4 minutes. I never understood why people hate this game (though I only played the game on PC which is the royal edition so I can understand people being upset at the incomplete version of the game) but FFXV has so much depth in it that you don't realize on your first playthrough, I mean stuff like backflip in the sword combo having Iframes and skipping straight to finisher without having to do the entire combo on every weapon type.
There were many things I loved about FFXV. I especially got into the combat as you could be flexible with all the builds available. While I don't hate/dislike this game, there are a few story/progression things I wished could have been included. Other than that, I think it's a great game that everyone should enjoy.
Aah I remember, I wasn't prepared at all. I even doesn't beat the game yet at that time. No buff, no rare metal.. just ragnarok. And I was like.. err what is this.. lets see.. Warp my sword 40 damage, Gladiolus 0 damage, Prompto 14 damage, Ignis 20.. wait REGENERATE his health. WTF. Release armiger 7 damage each hit.. excuse me..! running around and found 1 spot he can't touch me.. just hide there, let my bros die, wait until he reach vulnerable state.. and warp him, with power vx 150 damage each. Yeah.. in 2-3 hours lol.
@@nathanc2681 also before watching your vid I encountered omega on my first playthrough... I was just doing the side quests from the hideout before going to the main story again.. and as I was walking through the city, a cutscene triggered and I saw this thing. I thoguht it would be just another casual boss fight and hoo boy... I got thrashed for a good 45 minutes. but I managed to kill it spamming armiger unleashed and electon casts xD
Even though they can't be used during AU, squeezing in an Enhancement, Cross Chain finisher, or an Electron/Quintcast Thundaga might shave off some time. You could give the other guys the magic, albeit with no certainty they'll use it.
I think it's because I'm dodging first before I attack. I'm not 100% sure because Omega is the only boss where I sometimes skip some Armiger Unleashed attacks.
So what happens there is he’s aiming for the back legs and the front leg is obstructing him. noctis will skip to that move everytime when this happen with enemies with multiple limbs and enemies in groups. he will also do that if what you’re targeting is out of range.
Was wondering? >_< I'm a noob and just picked up royal edition, about to start it... how can I do that without messing up and leveling with others? Or is there something I'm missing theoretically? :) thanks and epic video and play mate, been watching videos for last few months getting hyped to start this game in my free time soon
All characters including Noctis are at level 120. Noctis has low health due to equipping the 'Rare Metal' and is wearing the jacketless prince's fatigues outfit. I am able to equip the 'Rare Metal' in this fight as I have beaten Omega in an earlier playthrough, which I carried over in a second playthrough.
Nathan C epic! Thank you for the explanation! Will have to work on builds like this! Because I was thinking similar, with way it is really keeping Noctis low health and high damage or however that can be set up with the others supporting and healing or reviving when need be was gonna be my overall goal... thanks for the reply and I'll have to do a little more research but great vid and great gameplay, goals bro ha.
Some of the main things to focus on this fight are Omega's moveset and phases. After learning its moveset, you'll be able to understand when to attack, when to dodge and which weapons to use. Some people like to use magic in this fight whilst others prefer to stick to physical weapons, so it's up to your preference. Also, having Ignis make the right meal at camp is another important factor as you can raise your attack, magic, etc. I am unsure about doing this fight with a low level, but it is still possible to do. It just may take a bit longer.
It's more like a combo (they call it a finishing combo on the wiki). For example, Noctis will do a special attack after you press your attack button 4 or 6 times then press the warp button.
Nathan C i play in FFXV WE, so the attack button is left click, but i never got a chance to use finishing combo even though i already clicked more than 6 times and press warp button.... why ?
I'm not sure about the controls on FFXV WE. You should be able to look at your armiger unleashed controls in the tutorial, in the pause menu. That's where I learned the controls for armiger unleased.
There are 5 finishing combo (3 on ground and 2 mid-air). You have to time it right to excecute (when Nocts growing), spaming warp button won't help. It take sometime to practise the timing.
I got lucky. If I had waited for a second longer, Omega would have gone berserk. Edit: If you're referring to why Omega didn't go berserk earlier in the fight, I tried to avoid hitting its body and antenna and focused on hitting Omega's arms/legs.
From what it looks like, he beat Omega already and is using the accessory that you get from beating Omega which drastically drops your HP but gives you some serious damage. Because I beat Omega and that took some time and you get a rare metal type of accessory for doing it. Unless I'm wrong and it's something else, but I doubt it. But the caption does say "managed to beat omega again" so I guess.
I have a video on my channel describing how I beat Omega. I'll leave the details on that video. But the reason why I have a lot of damage is because I have the 'rare metal' equipped and have the 'clairvoyant' food buff.
By using rare metal and stacking maximum strength + food buffs by the looks of his hp and the no jacket Prince outfit + armiger unleashed. This is actually pretty amazing tbh, with enough items you can faceroll Omega if you have enough time. This however was pure skill. Considering he had 500hp the whole fight this is unbelievable, you could maybe get a similar result without rare metal of you can kill omega in 1 armiger cycle. The method in the video though requires a huge skill level.
Mal ne frage wie kann man ihn wirklich schaden machen. Bei mir kommt fast nur null schaden und One hitet fast bei jeden treffer. -.- Ich weiß das er auch Donneranfällig ist aber das macht auch nur 0 schaden. -.-
Could use more variety of moves to increase the performance, but better than most ff streamers who are unable to pull off a decent armiger unleashed based fight.
There are some attacks that may end up hitting Omega's antenna and cause it to use it's shield and go berserk. I recommend avoiding it's antenna. You can look at my video for tips on Omega if you need options on what to do if the shield/berserk phase occurs.

I think that you should trie to kill human when you are at least level 105 and use royal weapons a lot and also use founder kings sigil to get the advanced armiger
I can imagine it. I made other attempts to try beat Omega in less than 4 minutes but I've been unsuccessful. Maybe someone else out there has beaten Omega in 3 minutes.
I'll take that into account when I fight Omega again in the future. I'll probably end up using Ignis' enhance more because I personally don't use buff items that much.
If you have the Royal edition of the game, Omega should be located on the eastern area of Insomnia's map. Not all the way to the east, kinda in the middle. I know there's a map on Google with Omega's exact location.
You can access Omega with the Royal edition/DLC for FFXV. To avoid spoilers, you can find Omega in the final area of the game (there's a map on Google to help pinpoint it's exact location).
You mean Armiger Unleashed? It's pretty much the Armiger's upgrade. You need all 13 royal arms, then obtain and wear the Founder King's Sigil in order to use Armiger Unleashed. The Sigil is on the statue outside Keycatrich (first dungeon you cleared).
