So is it super loud for everyday drive....I mean i have a 350z that im tuning (intake, plenum, etc.) and i want an exhaust taht can rip when i hit it and also that isnt too brutally loud when i ride normaly... What your take ?
Patrick Dalpe honestly the tomei is just that, it’s loud when you want it to be and can be quiet if you need it to be. Only thing is, if you plan on getting long tube headers or non resonated test pipes is when the tomei really screams and can be extremely loud most of the time. If you’re looking for a good performing exhaust with a good tone and isn’t all that loud, then I would go with motordyne shockwave tdx2. Both the tomei and the motordyne are great exhausts, but the motordyne is definitely less loud and less obnoxious when pairing them with headers or unresonated test pipes if that’s what you plan on doing

Get it! It’s a single exit exhaust, very light in weight and one of the best sounding exhausts for a z in my opinion 🙌🏼
