It could've gone into production in '67 but the bosses at Tr**** said no. They could've had some money in the bank to combat the Honda 750 with a redesigned triple, like a Laverda.....

A very nice bike that sounds perfect, I have owned two T160’s and the only comment I would make is the ignition points are a pain, electronic ignition is all that is needed to make it perfect.

Good looking clean bike and you can see it runs strong. I agree. Bikes are meant to be ridden. Those were the days or real motorcycling. Tickling those carbs. Kickstarting. Loud and fast.
Man, I used to hate the smell of gas on my hands. Lol. Today, I think I'd figure out a way to push the tickle buttons with a stick or something. 😀

I had a 74,she was rough and needed alot of parts and work..and i didnt have the skills then (1985-86) to get her straightened out and running as she should.

My Uncle had this bike with the exact same paint job. We used to ride it to Pepperal, MA Moto Cross on my Birthday as a child. I love this bike!
