Ale doesn't like to sing lead, but when she does, WOW! It really shows where there harmony comes from. Ale's voice is a deeper & silkier. She does some solo stuff on stage in choke. Pau started singing & drumming (yes, together) when she was 6. Live Dany NEVER stops. It's a 90 min vocal machine, sounding stronger as the night goes on. Her voice was shaking the building, not just Ale's bass. I saw them live 2 months ago. The vocal & instrumental assalt from all 3 of them individually is amazing. Together....I have no words!!!

Thank you for reacting to The Warning and for pointing out how difficult it is to play the drums and sing at the same time, because it's not just keeping the voice stable, it requires exalting and inflating without making noise (she always has the headset microphone there, and she can't get away, like when using a usual microphone) and not run out of breath. In addition, playing the drums requires independent movement of both feet, hands, and to that must be added singing, which is why there are so few good drummer singers. Paulina deserves respect for being able to do it so well.
Find this article. "Dave Grohl Explains Why It's 'Practically Impossible' To Drum And Sing At The Same Time".

Pau runs in place when practicing her vocals. It helps her with breath control. Also, this was a concert in Mexico City, elevation of 7,250 feet, which means less oxygen. Much harder to perform at higher altitudes and sustain the energy level. And she is also using her legs as well as her arms while drumming.

Thanks for the great reaction. More recent songs in their catalogue really show off how much stronger all of their vocals have gotten since that performance in 2018. Pau sings beautiful lead on three songs on the latest album 'Error', Revenant, 23 & Breathe. Unfortunately there aren't pro shot concert videos or official music videos of the particular songs but there are lyric videos of each on their TH-cam channel. Dany has also taken command of her vocals that makes her a powerhouse lead vocalist today.

The mic thing is no big deal... singers who are using a stand up or hand held mic frequently turn their head away or move their hand with the mic so they can control the input and not overload the mic, as you will see with singers belting etc... When you are wearing the mic on your face you can't move it or your face away from it in the same way as the other two stand up singers can but you still have to make adjustments. People are just not used to seeing a drummer sing so much.

When you consider their age when this was written and performed and how dark the lyrics are it’s nothing short of amazing!
The Megaphone voice was Rudy, their manager, nowadays it’s added by recording.
Paulina’s training for singing while drumming was mostly by performing together with singing while she was running, also bear it in mind that where they live is pretty high above sea level!

Hello, you were commenting on Paulina's movement, in a live they asked that question, how did she hold her breath when singing and playing at the same time? Her answer was that when she does cardio on the treadmill, she sings to have more resistance and control her breathing. and the air that is his secret to sing while he sings. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU REACT TO THE CREEP COVER OF RADIO HEAD THAT PAULINA DID IN A PIANO VERSION.

If you want more Pau you should react to her singing Creep by Radio Head. Or her doing a drum solo at the age of Ten.Dany has some mini concerts with jyst a guitar or just Dany. Ale sings lead on Red Hands Never Fade, River's Soul and Hunter. Pau is 16 at this concert. The guy speaking in Spanish is their Manager Rudy

Amazing and very detail oriented reaction as usual.
They all have different but beautiful voices.
Imo… genetics play a part in how they harmonize, their instincts, and even the way they play their instruments together. They are all uniquely talented and gifted but when they sing and play together..
it goes up to a different and higher level that other bands will never reach.
They came. They rocked. They conquered.

Hello Hello. This is the first song that I heard by them. Stumbled across them watching drum reaction videos. This is probably the best review that I have seen for this song. Great band. I recommend them to a lot of people I know.

Also, they didn't really have time to acclimate to Mexico City's elevation (> 7000 feet) and it definitely affected them. During the show Pau took over lead vocals for Dany on "Copper Bullets" to give her voice a rest, and THAT was incredibly impressive because the drumming in that song is METAL. Anyway, they're just inspirational all the time.

Great react! However, the star here imo is Ale. 13 yo badass grrl hammering the song together with the raw and forceful bass sound she had using that Spector Europe then. Acting out on the music and slinging that instrument around like a toy, as if posessed by the spirit of Cliff Burton... There weren't any girls like that at my school when I was that age. 🤣

If you’d like to hear Paulina singing solo, she did an acapella cover on piano of the song Creep from Radiohead she recorded herself from her phone, I assume that’s what it was recorded on. But she sounds amazing.

The movement doesn't get any better when she's not on the drums. Since they no longer tour alone, they borrow the drummer from the other bands and Pau becomes the frontwoman for a song or two. Unfortunately, there is no official video of it yet. Here is a FanCam without clipping sound:
    The Warning - Narcisista - Live - @Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia - 23May2023
But it's not easy for the replacement drummer. Pau is under 1.6m / around 5.1' . With the backup drummer, the kit looks like it's made for a kid.

If you really want to see Pau shine and hear her vocal range, watch her do her cover of Creep by Radiohead. One of the best covers of that song that I have ever heard. Just Pau and a piano. Beautiful.

May I be so bold as to suggest a different side of The Warning? I think you would really enjoy Revenant off of the Error album. It is another Pau song that they have a lyric video for on their page. The only live versions are fan cell phone videos, but this one is pretty good from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX 2022 (the pro shot of this will come out eventually i'm sure). Take your pick on either one.
