Your comment about Lauki being permanent is very true in our situation. I live in US, and most of my friends are Gujarati's. It is very common for Gujarati's to have parents and in laws living with them, which is a good thing. These retired people out of boredom grow vegetable gardens in backyards. Lauki overgrows.. grows over fences.. climbs on trees that are 50 feet high. So the kids carry lauki in their cars all the time looking for someone to take it.
No words to appreciate the actors ....what an amazing actors....we can watch with kids .....i enjoyed throughly watching with my kids and husband.....soon after coming from school he will ask to change the channel
