Bugged Amon Boss Fight VICTORY!

On the first day of the early release of Dawntrail, players discovered a crippling bug during the Amon boss fight of Cyrcus Tower. The bug somehow slipped through the cracks, likely because the Crystal Tower raids are VERY OLD content and nobody thought to test them.
At around 50% HP, several players will be targeted and encased in a block of ice. Shortly after this happens, Amon will cast a spell called "Curtain Call," that will automatically KO any player who is not hiding behind one of these blocks of ice. The problem was that the blocks of ice weren't forming, and there was nowhere to hide from it.
That was when the members of my raid devised a cunning plan...
One alliance would intentionally allow itself to get KO'd BEFORE the mechanic began, and the other 4 healers would ensure that every member of that raid had a Resurrection spell on them until the mechanic wiped the everyone out. Then that alliance would rez during the explosion, get as many people up as possible and finish Amon before the Curtain Call mechanic could come around again.
This was not the first attempt. This probably wasn't even the 20th attempt. But while some of us wanted to give up, several players insisted on beating this fight before it got patched. An "unofficial achievement."
