Hi Karen, Your spring video was so uplifting! I am a binder girl too! That is a great way to stay organized. So glad your sweet mom is on the mend. Archie looks so good and happy. Thanks for making me smile 😃 today. Barb from Jersey
Karen was a beautiful video. It’s so funny because I told my husband that my 2024 goal is to get more into my flowers and my vegetable garden.! enjoy your PJs T I think of you every time I drink mine❤
An important thing to know is when the last frost date is in your area because you wouldn't plant your tender seedlings outside until after that (exceptions to that of course if you have some kind of greenhouse covers to protect them). If you start your seeds TOO early in the house they'll be too spindly before its time to plant outside, and most of the time they don't transplant well. I learned that years ago from my own experience! It's so tempting at this time of year to want to get started, but read the back of your seed packs and it will tell how long each type of seed takes to germinate. If you plant too early then the the roots get root bound in those tiny starting trays, and the stems/shoots get spindly. Enjoy the process....it's exciting to grow your own things. You'll want to 'harden them off' before transplanting outside.....take the tray outside for a few hours on a nice day and back in the house....do a few times to acclimatize the seedlings to direct sun, wind, etc. Nice sunny spot needed for your beautiful raised bed. Love how you decorated your foyer table. So beautiful and elegant. 😊 ~~M~~
Good news about your Mom and sweet Archie ❤ I used a raised garden cart last year for a herb garden, it was my first try, and it was a success ❤🌿 I used starter plants, and covered them to protect them from the deer I really enjoyed it!! Have Fun❤
Hi Karen, love your hair up, you look so pretty, and I really like your sunglasses. The foyer table looks so nice for spring. I’m excited for the warmer weather and your planting tips. TFS! Xoxo 🩷🫶🏻🌷
Hello Karen!! Love the seed planting idea (Pettiti's is one of my favorite places to visit and get inspiration)!!! AND, I'm so happy that your sweet mom and Archie are doing better!!!! Prayers answered!!! Have a great weekend!!! xxoo🧡💛💚
Yes, I remember Thom Mcan shoe stores. They were part of my mall-going days. Your hair does look really cute in the half-up style (and every way you style it). I love your Plant Planner. Pretty stationery and office supplies are so nice.
I love to garden and you’re off to a great start! We just started our seeds in our basement under grow lights. I also love the Rifle Garden Party pattern on your planner. I just had my powder room wallpapered in that pattern!
Karen, you inspire me so much!!!! Spring is really coming on here but I am sure that we will have 1 more cooler snap (always happens during spring break) so no planting, etc... Tom McCan....that is a name from the past! OMG!!!!! I loved that store! :) Hugs! xo
I love your front entry tips! I really agree with you that that particular area matters how inviting it looks. ✨️🌷✨️🌷✨️ This was a lovely spring video! TFS 😀💕🤍💕
Hey Karen! Love plants too! Guess what? I have a water bottle with your planter print. Rifle Paper company makes such beautiful florals! Love your entry way❤️🥰
I so enjoyed this fun video full of ideas!! And I love your hair style!! I’m so excited for Spring and planting my gardens too! Good luck with your seed planting! 😊❤🪴🍄🌺
Hi Karen!! Your hair looks super cute, I wear mine more up then down too ! I'm so excited about getting out in the garden too, the raised beds are awesome where are you getting them?? and the Journey is soo pretty love it ! Your personality is so bubbly love your high spirits! May your sweet mom continue to heal . Hugs & prayers Paula
Hi Karen! I love your foyer! You’ve given me the spring bug for sure!🐰💐 I’m glad your mom is recuperating nicely. Many prayers up for her 🙏🏻 I forgot to tell you “Thank You !” For sharing the lip balm from Sara Hap. I tried it and I am in love. My lips have never felt so soft. 💋❤
Thanks for the shout out Karen! I’m so excited to collaborate with you on my planting planner giveaway! That binder you chose is perfect and so cute. I also love that you’re using a faux book to keep seeds in. Makes me want to have a whole bookshelf dedicated to seed books! Great video today!! ❤🎉
I am so jealous that you have a Barnes and Noble. All the bookstores in my area have closed. Makes me sad. I could spend hours in a bookstore. The colorful binder and seed box are perfect for your new garden project and ideas. Your salads always look incredibly fresh and crisp! Makes me want to eat more salad... as I just ate everything bagel dip and pretzel crisps!!!! I did love the foyer styling... but would have switched the picture on top of the book and the green wax melt near the lamp. I think the lamp base is so pretty, its a shame to hide it behind the framed print.
I agree with you! If Karen did a little switch, then too, she wouldn’t have to worry about the cord going over the back of the table! AND the salads always look so fresh! Do you change up the dressings? Linda from Pittsburgh
Hi Karen! I am a country gal, but please educate me on what Italian fryers are? I have never heard of those and I know I’m going to feel pretty dumb after I find out! lol! I think you are so compassionate about what you do such as starting your own seedlings! I wish I were more like that! I enjoy you sharing your days with us!😊
Hello Karen from Tn. I have a suggestion for the cord in the entryway. Run it behind the book box and around the side of the table. You can even use a clear command strip to hold it on the side of the table. Less noticeable. Just a thought. You'll love gardening. Check out Marlene on Green Leaf Gardens. She's in Ohio too. Gorgeous yard and gardens. Can't wait to get outside and in the dirt.
Plant Zinnias they are so easy but put somewhere away from patio,,,, Bumble bees love them good for pollinating plants but not good by patio. pets, and kids
I have been planting seeds for about 35 years (im 65) the main tip is make sure your seeds stay damp and don't dry out. very nice to have a veggie garden but I was so disappointed you did not buy flower seeds, :( People don't realize the easiest way to obtain an established flower garden is to do seeds at a fraction of the cost of buying flower plants, and if you get perennial seeds they will come back every year...sigh...maybe next year I can talk you into buy some FLOWER seeds lol. There is nothing like watching the seeds grow into huge beautiful flowers. good luck dear
Hope you are ok Karen… I know you’ve had soo much going on with you sweet doggie and mom.. I totally get it I’m taking care of loved ones as well… but it’s not March 19th.
Hi Karen. Our sweet mutual friend Lilly @lillyandthings is so knowledgeable in all things gardening and homemaking. She truly has a green thumb. I bet she will share all her tips for a beautiful and successful garden.

I had never heard of them either and thought I knew planting veggies. Thanks for asking.
I think they may be hot peppers 🤭

Love your nails and your cardigan
Love that wax burner is it available any where? Love your home I just found your channel enjoy so much 😊
Archie was your best foyer spring decoration!
How can I subscribe to your friend’s utube?
The biggest mistake I made when starting plants from seed was starting them too soon (indoors) & not hardening them off.
Plant Zinnias they are so easy but put somewhere away from patio,,,, Bumble bees love them good for pollinating plants but not good by patio. pets, and kids
Do you ever add protein to your salads?
Yes!!
