Just found ur channel, and really like it. Seems like u do a great job. I am a family member of a old dairy farm in upstate NY. Keep up the good work and hope u have a great harvest.
Really appreciate the kind words.. thank you. I’m glad you’re enjoying it! Always wanted to have cattle on the farm, but dairy is a different breed. Lot of work!
We ordered them shortly after this video was filmed. I went online searching for something and found that kit. Should come stock on the head! Wonderful product.
You can assume everyday is 40% annoyed things don’t work like they should, 20% annoyed with the weather man, and the other 40% surprised things are running smoothly lol I think that’s just the ode of a farmer!
Do the driers. Have a controller that corrects for moisture Are they original to the driers We just washed up our 8 footer with the fire engine Good to be done
5:06 I was fortunate enough to meet a rep from some business north of Madison WI that knew what I wanted and had access to controllers for grain dryers Need to call him we stay up 24hrs till we're done
I’ve heard of a new controller you can put on those dryers that take control of everything including moisture sense. Unfortunately we need to get both of them up and running before we think upgrades lol just can’t figure our west dryer out. Electrician has been over it numerous times.
Pros and cons to both. Case was much simpler to just set and run with good samples. The Deere is much more meticulous. If you want to be extremely precise, it’s definitely the route to go, but you are constantly messing with the settings. Definitely like the Deere more just because it’s so much newer and has all the bells and whistles like the power folding bin and extremely quiet cab. Dad had tried an S670 awhile back but hated it. Loud cab, loud unload, turning was stiff.. etc. but they’ve fixed all that. We’re impressed.
i hate the deere ones they are to small and hide down in them stinking holes can not find them when i am at the end of the field and want to pick up the tool and auger on the cart
demoed a deere and ih tractor and boss told me to pick what one to buy i told him i liked the ih better than the deere but said i will have to get along with the one they could deal on ended up with the ih got lucky for sure @@salisburyfarms

They make a brush kit for those belts and it will quit kicking the beans. I think Lankota has them.

Do you like the jd better than the case?

I can admit to getting switch flipping fingers and pressing the wrong ones on the Deere as well lol
