The last Silversides on the tour was indeed gorgeous. Even a modern Class A RV can't match the detail in that rig.

The typical modern class A "plastic palace" couldn't ride the tail wind of that classic beauty!

The walk around and the tours were fascinating - such a variety of styles and interiors! You tastefully did not go into the various costs and build pricing on this collection, but you can't help but notice that some folks have spent much more than others. Yet each one had its own character. It is fun to imagine owning each one as you went through, bachelor pad studio to family RV style and everything in between. But any one of them would be a blast to own. I got a kick out of the one that you were going to spray oil on the engine - never seen a bus engine look like that! Everyone here will agree, Lenny has the best 'personality' of all - even if the driver exuberantly shifted with some grinding noise a couple of times... 😏👍🏆

Some of these buses are crazy. I can't imagine that one young man who got his bus at 17. I was happy with a van at his age. That coach at the end is wonderful. I wanted a bus but the SO wanted the BlueBird and now we have 25 tons of coach of our own. You made it to the big time, Busopoly ! Thanks for the tour Scott. Wife was out so I had the surround sound on. Don't take that muffler away please!

I drove for Peerless Stages in the Bay Area in the 80's, and they still ran a '53 Silverside, (painted), with that wrist breaking steering.
I remember one day, I was driving a 4106 in the Santa Cruz mountains, when the muffler fell off!
What a fabulous sound that 8V71 made!
Reminds me a bit of your bus.

Some very cool buses, very nice of the owners to let you do walkthrough videos on them. Nice to see that George got his hub for the 4104, I was kinda waiting to see that. I can't imagine getting a bus when you're 17 (especially with the licence laws here in Australia), but a Silversides would certainly be a very unique first car, he's done a great job with it too.

What a great video. I love seeing everyone's different touches and customizing they've done on their buses. That last silversides! Wow. I sat here shouting at my laptop screen "holy S*it!" when you walked inside. I really like those custom coach conversions as well. Beautiful and quite stylish even by today's standards. Wouldn't change a thing on them. Some of the new RV's with the elaborate mill work and slide outs look too much like a house on the inside which I don't care for. I like that a custom coach still looks like a coach inside.

PD-3703 = the "Camelback Cruiser." Those were aimed at charter operators and Trailways affiliates for use on low density routes. They're a direct descendant original steel WWII "Victory Cruiser" which came either as a PGA with a GMC gas engine or a PDA with the 4-71. The Victory Cruiser front end was also slapped on to the Yellow transit body to make the PD-4101.
