We tell the chilling account of the event lazed with personal experience, we mention the members of the PNDC as at that time and mention why Yidana the police investigator believed that Capt Tsikata should have answered more questions, and with a rare video of the painful funeral that was held in Accra 40 years ago. Point of correction Paul, Yidana was never an IGP. Yidana was part of the team that investigated the murder of the three high court judges and the retired army officer by then.

Your presentation isn't fair to Yidana. He did his investigation and from he interrogating Amartey Kwei, Amedeka, Gyandu, Tekpor and Sena, all fingers pointed to Tiskata and Rawlings. Respectfully, don't present like he personally alleged Tsikata.

Paul, there were commissions of enquiries which were covered by both the daily graphic and the Ghanaian times. nana konadu agyemang rawlings was the one who handed over the pajero keys to amatey Quaye. there was gbgbladza, and so on and so forth as reported by these newspapers as the enquiries went on.
But for the Yidana's rank in the police force, Paul's story would be complete.
Double speak and double standards are way more a problem in Ghana, than what we constantly project every now and then of the past.
We simply rant about grave issues from the then, and now , and don't learn any lessons from them.

Point of correction. They judges were shot before being burnt.
Rawlings and Tshikata died unrependant key muderers with blood-stained hands as far as this case of these judges and this retired military officer will ever be concerned...no question about it. All indicators point at them largely. The two have gone down in history as active murderous statesmen who deadly savegely executed their military powers over the Ghanaians' lives under their military junta that ruled with clear deceitful heavy-handedness. So sad...Namibia

Yidana was not IGP, he was the senior investigator attached to Azu Crabbe's investigative committee.
His Rank was chief Superintendent of police he head the investigation of the 3 high courts judges & the Retired Army major

All this guy Paul is saying is a blatant lie. The judges were killed in 1982 and as at that time, Paul and his family were living at 17 Seth Anthony Lane in Burma Camp and not Burma Villas. We were neighbours, we were at 16 Seth Anth Lane. We left Burma Camp in November 1982. I visited them in 1983 at the residence we left them. He is deceiving the public.
Watching this is getting me angry all over again. My family suffered under Rawlings. . My brother the only son of my mother was murdered by soldiers at circle when he was returning from school. 18 yrs old final year student at Emit technical in Kaneshie. I blame Rawlings and I hate him even now.

There's a school in Kumasi, Santasi, Kwadaso, Fa'ankyenebra called Martyr's of Uganda. I used visit the school when i was young in Kumasi.
Those days it was a big deal to be a student of martyrs of Uganda
