eto ung Vietnam team na lumaban sa Aisan Senior Championship last May, i think napaganda ung exposure nila doon, Team Phil is just new pero maganda ang nilaro nila to think na konti lang ang preparation time, sana magbuild ng permanent National team and Pinas at iwasan na ang politika, magaling ang lahat ng players and the coaching staff did their best para maprep ang mga players natin. Mabuhay ang manlalarong pinoy!
To LVPI Officials,
Nakita niyo ung pinakita ng Team natin sa SEA Games and Asian U23 competition. Maganda na ito dahil nga sa onting oras lang para makapag-prepare. Pero, sana sa mga susunod pang competitions magkaroon na tayo ng training pool para kahit onting oras lang before the tournament, we will have a number of players to choose from. Maraming magagaling sa Pilipinas, di lang etong nasa SEA Games team natin and mas lalo pa silang gagaling if we have continuous training and more exposure. I believe na malayo mararating natin if may concrete program kayo. Imagine, we only had few weeks to prepare pero maganda na pinakita natin esp sa U23, what more if we had a year to prepare. Atsaka, we had flourishing leagues in our country na pwede nyo pang pagkunan ng players. Ang maganda nga sa volleyball sa Pilipinas, may established ng grassroots na elementary pa lng may mga naglalaro na. So, I hope mawala na ang power struggle and ang pamumulitika sa Volleyball kasi we should all be united in one goal and that is to bring back Philippine in the International Volleyball Arena. Nasimulan na natin this year, ipagpatuloy niyo. Wag sayangin ang nasimulan. Wag sayangin ang talento na meron ang mga Pilipino. Maraming Salamat po.

kulang lang talaga sila sa exposure sa mga international competitions at 10 years silang lumiban sa SEA GAMES(volleyball) ano ma e expect natin?sana hindi na sila bubuwagin at sila nalang ang isasabak sa mga international competitions.but they are getting better in each games nakaka panghinayang lang dahil eliminated na sila.ang dami ng service errors na sana na convert into points.ituloy nyo lang yan at ang mga local leagues matatalo nyo rin sila balang araw.congratulations to vietnam for showing us(phils.) how to play good quality volleyball and goodluck to your coming duel with thailand in the championship game (excited much).
Jericho Morales sana nga may training pool tayo and sana matuloy ung program. di ung kung kelan competition saka lang magtetrain. sayang eh maraming magagaling ngayon and may up and coming players pa from UAAP and NCAA. Sana talaga matuloy ang program.

kasi kapag sinabak m ng sinabak yang mga yan sa mga malalakas na team mas madali nila malalaman kung ano pa kelangan nila iimprove sa kanila.
ang ADMU nung ngchamp cla dinala sila ni coach thai sa thailand inilaban sila sa team ni coach thai ayun binugbog lang cla. btw mga highschool lang un mga yun ah. dun m kasi mrerealize na mdami ka pa pde iimprove. kya nakita mo nmn laro ng ADMU this last season na swipe nla.

Magaling si Daquis kaya nga lagi sya kinukuha eh..Patunay lang yun...kaya dun s mga crab mentality ntin tigilan n.. Wag masyado maging hater at inggit s natatamasa nya gusto mo kasi s idol mo n karibal nya!! kung sino mang idol mo n rival nya s pagiging magaling n volleyball player eh sure ako n ndi sya kapansin pansin kahit s tingin mo n magaling sya..Enough dahil ang patunay jan Dami n nya MVP at ibang awards...kasama p s FHM awww san k p!!! I think ang kulang lang talaga is exposure ng team at chemistry. As you can see, other teams have been together for already several years. Kulang lang talaga ng good communication at chemistry sa loob ng court. Tulad ng teams like Brazil, makikita mo yung players like Thaisa, Fe Garay at iba pa na ang tagal2 ng nglalaro for their country. It's all about dedication din for the players.

Guys kindly check the individual statistics, the players of the Philippine team is hindi naman nalalayo sa ibang bansa. Maganda din naman ipinakita nila. Less error na lang ang tutukan and sana if they want to adopt the training in Thailand, magkaroon sana ng solid Team Philippines na hindi paiba iba. We have so many veterans na naexposed na sa mga international games. In Thailand, yung mga players nila is since 2006 or 2009 pa ata naglalaro, mas may chemistry sila magkakateam. :)

Team Philippines is good, they only need more experience in Asian competitions if not international. It will be better if they can find another tall Pinay (at least 6 foot and above) to rotate between the Santiago sisters for blocking. But anyway, though team Ph lost they gave their best and played their hearts out. Mabuhay!

NAIIYAK ako dahil alam ko ginawa nyo yung Best nyo khit nahirapan kyo. MARAMING salamat sa inyong LAHAT TEAM PHILIPPINES. !!!!! Mabuhay kyong lahat. natutuwa ako dahil lumakas nadin nman khit panu ang LEVEL ng volleyball sa ating bansa dahil sa inyong mga players ngaun. gayunman HARAPIN natin ang KATOTOHANAN diparin tyo nkakapantay sa higher level ng game internationally. dapat ung mas mabilis na pag set, ung mabilisang palo na mabilis ding umiwas sa kamay ng blockers, mahina pa ang blocking natin, kung pa sa tamang positioning ng sa pagreceive. dapat din mabibilis na combination attacks para makaiwas sa blocks.
after watching this game makikita mo agad yung difference and potential ng team philippines. Experience wise nalang talaga ang kulang and this team would be ready to challenge the bigger teams :D

ang daming errors ng team naten at wlang player rotation para nagkaron sana ng ibang combination. nababasa na ng vietnam yung galaw at atake ng mga players kaya madali nlng sa kanilang maka'depensa at nababawasan nmn tayo ng opensa para mka'score. anyways, magandang improvement na yung naging laro ng ating team :) sa susunod satin na ang gold!! congrats team pilipinas, puso!!!!

I'm so excited for this August's Sea Games 2017. I'm pretty sure Philippines will play much better than this, both men and women's team. They're training harder than the usual 1month training. This is the best line up so far in the history. If they only had few errors and stronger defense I believe they could've won.
i thought that it is true as most filipinos would say, that they did give their heart and soul in the game. super kaunti lang ng difference sa scores and in comparison yes mas may edad ang mga kalaban nila which boils down to experience. give it a year of training we will be no. 1 in our region. and if ever the best in asia na papantay sa japan...:-) rp women's team we still love you :-)

Our girls can spike, no doubt. I like their fast tempo offense. They just need to train how to slow block and stuff block. Don't worry. Even team USA couldn't win the FIVB for years until 2014. Team Philippines can only improve from here.
+Benzwito Q Finally an intelligent comment. No truer words were spoken. Rome wasn't built in a day. I've been a fan of US volleyball for the longest time. LOGAN TOM was/is my favorite player and it broke my heart when TEAM USA had to "settle" for SILVER for 2 consecutive olympics (2008 and 2012). As for people criticizing Rachel Anne Daquis, there's a reason (TALENT) why she was chosen as a player for team PHILIPPINES. You don't get to be a NATIONAL TEAM PLAYER just because you're "BEAUTIFUL". The game could have easily been won by TEAM PHILIPPINES if the coach only utilized all the players in his arsenal.

I think Aiza Maizo should be part of the 12 and Bea De Leon should be out of the line-up it’s not that she’s not deserving but Aiza Maizo is more deserving then she should be the captain than Gonzaga. again, it’s not that gonzaga is good but i think maizo is more better on the utility side. gonzaga should be defensive specialist or a sub for maizo when maizo can’t find her rhythm. then it’s either soltones or dindin santiago on the open then daquis should only just be a service specialist. jaja and alyssa has the right spot for them. then the other middle spiker/blocker is Abi Marano for more organized blocking.
then i think jia is a better setter but there should be sometimes a change of rhythm cause they have different style of setting so it will be difficult to for us to be read in our plays. so dimaculangan sjhould be sub
I think coach roger gorayeb should experiment rather than the usual spots for them cause volleyball is a game of adjustments. I’m a fan of ALE even when coach gorayeb is still the coach but i admire more of ramil de jesus. I think he’s a better coach.

There's a lot of hate comments about 18 - Daquis but the other wing spikers isn't doing a good job either in terms of attacking, receiving, blocking and service aces. I guess, her presence is just that noticeable or because the camera keeps on focusing on her.

If they would have this rematch now and just replace Daquis with Galang (Daquis performed well but Galang is way deadlier than her), Morado & Fajardo would alrernate and lastly Macandili would also play alternate with Lazaro Philippines would win in three straight sets.

I think Daquis is very good and Morado is also a good setter. Morado is even better than Vietnamese setter (#10). But J. Santiago (#3) is not perfect at this moment and fails so many serves. It is not easy for Philippines to win the match because Vietnam is a stronger team. Vietnam has a lot of good spikers as #3, #7, #8, #9, and #16.
overall it was a good game, kung less errors sana may pag asa.

Ok lang tayo matalo sa ngayon kase tutoo naman mas magagaling sila. It wont be long well at par with them...Happy volleyball naman tayo . Kahit naman sa basketball hindi rin naman tayo pinaka magaling..di ba nga.

Philippine Team, good job...consider as newbie yet nkk pantay na po sila sa score ng vietnam, kung wla lng yung lalaki sa indonesia pnalo n sna ang Philippines...exposure is needed pra ma encounter nila ang mga ibat ibng style ng pagalalaro, the more magaling ang kalaban nyo, the more ggling din kyo...pag uwi sa pilipinas, take a review sa mga errors, and study s mga styles ng kalaban....

Philippines has got so many powerful (men and women) Vball potentials, but I've heard that they declined the offer to play due to prior commitments, maybe politics, and personal reasons eventhough they were included in the pool...we just hope someday that they prioritize these International events because it is the name of our country that's at stake. Look at the other teams where they really choose the best amongst the bests (some I heard dont have any choices and they're forced to join, like those in communist countries) in order to represent their countries...well, hoping its not just another wishful thinking :( - Vball enthusiast from England
