Never get tired of the Texas Tenors- love their variety of musical styles. “Danny Boy” is extremely special to me as my high school principal Walter O’Connell sang it every ST Patrick’s Day for his son, my classmate, Danny who joined the Marines and lost his life in Vietnam. Hearing “Danny Boy” sung so beautifully, heartfelt by the Texas Tenors warms my heart & brings tears to my eyes.
They are great. I can listen to them all night. I think they need to due a show on tv. And it should be 2 hrs. They should sing all there songs. They should come to the casino in philadelphia for a show. Thanks for great music. Laureen Sullivan from northeast Philadelphia.
You are right, Gayland, with your interpretation of an instrumental. These guys give a beautiful rendition of this old classic and I don't think I've ever heard it done any better. Real talent from TTT!!!!!
Margi, I am puzzled as to your remark that this is not an instrumental. That is the second such comment and what puzzles me is that I don't see anything that says it is instrumental. I, in posting did make such a claim. What am I missing? Thanks for the comment. They are very talented and have beautiful voices.
Yanni Tzili, I don't understand your comment. I am not one who knows a great deal about music so am not disagreeing with your comment. Maybe I can learn something. If I understand instrumental it is obviously not instrumental. To me instrumental means no vocals just instruments.

Musically great... but... this song is not instrumental... it's about solo voice... with as
few ornamentations, tremolos and vibratos as possible...
