This was NOT a criminal trial. this was a political trial. NY U need a new DA and other state reps. The next time no one helps you when a crime is being committed, this is why A good seminarian/hero does something to help and y'all crap on him. New York R U proud of yourselves.
He wasn't killed on the subway. He was pronounced dead in the hospital. According to the police report, Neely still had a pulse when they arrived. They used Narcan and started CPR.
"True Justice?" A convicted felon is headed to the White House. I am holding my breath -the situation that unfolded on the subway is unfortunate. The Marine believed he was being a "good Samaritan". There are no other words but to give sympathy, empathy to the family of the homeless man. I believe every family has an individual who refuses the help available.
New York is so screwed up. This was not a case for the DA. This is a case for NYC's many problems to be fixed. It will take a republican mayor and governor to fix it.
Because Jordan Neely was alive and refusing medical treatment after Daniel Penny released him to the police, this case never should of went to trial Alvin Bragg gotta Alvin Bragg.

it would have been what was the cause of death. death from an injury that happen earlier can be a homicide
@13Liberty50 and the drugs in his system had nothing to do with his death? Come on now...
Plus the forensic result says that none of his neck bones were broken, consistent with NO strangulation results. The marine DIDNT kill this man.

He was offered housing and rehab but he chose to refuse.

More mental health and rehab facilities instead of more prisons
