My macs golden planted in summer and watered about three times only, barely 10mm rain in summer and it grew! That would surely be above the graft at that height. The late growth on persimmon is also happening here over the ditch, not too unusual with a fairly frostless climate I think.

I always look forward for your videos, they are so relaxing, thank, you. I also get a bit frustrated because here in italy on the tuscany coast we have a quite mild climate but all my attempts to grow tropicals did not end up very well. Maybe too much rain in winter, and too much hot and humidity in summer.

Glad you like watching them! Don't give up, try new ways and have a few copies of each cultivar.

I have heaps of mango seedling plants as well which are in pots & I am looking forward to planting them in the ground by next year when I move onto my own property.
One of my goals is to buy a Red Dacca banana plant then plant it when I get there !

The unknown 'cherimoya' probably annona reticulata with the longer, narrower shape and thicker texture of leaves, cherimoya are almost all very round and soft

Snails/slugs don't touch okinawan spinach that I've seen, baby snails live on the leaves at certain time but only little purple caterpillars that munch them

I have a gold finger and red dacca here in Melbourne that are both fruiting currently. Do you think the fruit will be able to ripen or make it through winter?

@@RealLifeFruitopia Thanks! I bought it from bunnings about 2 years ago fingers crossed the fruit ripens up. The first few hands of the rack are currently visible and are already starting to turn a burgundy colour.
