It makes me so happy to see Khamzat and Usman Nurmagomedov show respect to one another. They are my top 2 favourite fighters right now.
2 of my favourite fighters too.
Both very different.
Khamzat doesn't have much experience but has that warrior's instinct.
Usman has a lot of amateur MMA experience & is one of the most skilled youngsters in all of MMA.

Whereas, according to Khabib the fighters from Abdulmanap camp have a lot of amateur experience. They have a lot of combat sambo experience too.

Get past Usman, and we know you will… and you will get that title fight! You will be the next GOAT! Keep it going brother!
If he beats Usman at 185 he'll definitely be considered next for the title for Izzy vs Whittaker 3 or rematching Ikram for the Interim MW title, but either way Khamzat will be champ and will reach the peak of his truest fighting potential, especially training with legends like Alexander Gustafsson and Yaraslov Amosov as well as other great fighters like Jimi Manuwa and Sean Strickland and he's still only 29.

@@darkclaw1462 interim title only gets made if champ refuses to defend or is injured too long for scheduled fight. Ikram can work his way to a title shot to a possible Khamzat champ. Ikram only has a Dana's contender win and only 1 official UFC fight. Khamzat has multiple UFC wins in two divisions. Still far from them fighting again.

Wonder if that was a one-off injury or maybe the long running knee problems are beginning to slow him down. He still has a huge name, so it's a good time for Khamzat to fight him. Reminds me a little of Oliveira fighting Ferguson after he got finished by Gaethje.

Holy crap, if Khamzat trains with Usman Nurmagomedov or anyone from AKA, he’ll reach a whole new level of domination, I’m 100% sure!
To be fair I think he needs to train with strikers more because his wrestling and grappling are already great but his head movement showed some flaws against Gilbert.

Hasn't really fought anyone yet, once he fights the elite he's going to take those guys down and control them. If he doesn't submit them the fights will be less exciting

Khamzat is a character I’m glad to be around for his ufc career. He’s soft spoken surprisingly maybe he just got done training in this video but it’s crazy how loud he can get when he needs to or has that adrenaline flowing “Ooooo I kill everybody! AAAH!”.

The next fight is more important than every fight he’s had in the UFC combined to this point. The weight debacle was a bad look but I’m a believer in this guy. I think he has what it takes to be a double champ.

I wouldn't say it's the biggest but it's definitely a big fight. I wanted to see Khamzat vs Shavkat since both are undefeated and have that whole aura of invincibility around them yet but I doubt the UFC wants either of them to derail the other. Usman would be a good test for either Khamzat or Shavkat though 100%
it could possibly break ppv records since khamzat is huge in the middle east, every middle eastern will be paying to see it. especially with islam on the main card
