Jim once liked my tweet that said "Hondo Ohnaka is my spirit animal" it's my proudest moment
Can you imagine if Obi-Wan went to the Cantina and Han and Chewie weren't there and the only pilot he could find was Hondo? Think of the possibilities.
They would never have ended up on the death star, maybe just get tricked and robbed 😂
There’s a fanfic on AO3 called Kenobi Walks Into A Cantina and Immediately Wishes He Could Walk Back Out.
Hondo and Winnie the Pooh are the same person. That's gonna be tough to get out of my head for awhile.
He was also the singing voice of Pocahontas' father in Pocahontas, which I just discovered recently!
Grievousish I can say the same thing about Mr. Crabs and Savage Oppress
Same guy
Best hondo line ever spoken...
Ahsoka: I dont wanna hurt you hondo!
Hondo: i knoooow... and I appreciate that!
I love how Hondo has told off three sith Lords and lives, (Dooko, Maul, Opress).
Do you think you are the first lazer sword wielding maniac to come to my home?
Technically hes told off 5. As he has talked to palpatine in the ransom episode. And his few fights with Anikan aka Vader
18:53 when he realized he made an adult joke on a family channel
Star Wars Rebels Clips yes, I had to cut to the shot of his face... but notice how I changed the subject ; )
James Arnold Taylor it was pretty funny. ah well the kids won't get it 😂
@@JATactor Look at it this way: You managed to keep things okay. Plus, there's no backlash. That's another happy landing right there.
Right up there (or down there?) with Ying Yang Yo's definition of "fugly".
"I just remember MILF." 😂 that face Jim made after that was perfect!
The Clone Wars voice actors are truly their own special breed of phenomenal talent. They are unmatched, truly. James, thank you so much for keeping our love of the show alive. It is my favourite Star Wars comment ANYWHERE. God Bless you.
I actually didn't realize that it was Jim Cummings was Hondo when I first watched the series. I realized it much later when my dad watched it, and heard that Hondo's voice is the same voice as Minsc from Baldur's Gate (who is also voiced by Jim Cummings).
Go for the eyes, Boo.... Go for the eyes!
"This operation, is no longeeeer, profitable!"
My favorite Hondo line
I absolutely love this!
When Mark Hamill's name came up in the conversation, I remembered that he actually did a guest role on The Clone Wars. Have you considered inviting him on the show?
Daniel Johansson I love how he is Darth Bane. I'd love for him to reprise the voice sometime. Mark plays fantastic villains
Every word out of Hondo's mouth is gold. Glad you had Jim Cummings on!
Now I know why Hondo always sounded a little bit familiar, he sounded like tigger from Winnie the Pooh. I just checked Jim’s Imdb page, how is it possible for a human being to be this talented, he is amazing!
Just a suggestion, but you might want to put the guests name in the title of the episode. You'll attract more people that way!
James Arnold Taylor Your Clone Wars conversations series is really fun to watch with all these different voice actors I hope to see more!
I love when Hondo says "Where did the power go? I was having fun!" When he's shocking Anakin and Obi-Wan LOL
thank you for doing this show Mr. Taylor!
The thumbnail art is brilliant!
That part where you both read the lines from Oliver Twist as Hondo and Obi-Wan was the highlight of my week 😂😂😂 I closed my eyes during the whole scene and I could see Obi-Wan and Hondo having the conversation perfectly. I'm really enjoying these Clone Wars Conversations as someone who watched the show from its first air date when I was 8 to even now at 17 on Netflix. I really want to thank you for carrying on the memory of this great show through these interviews. Thank you so much, Mr. Taylor :)
Lay Support Squad thank you! So glad you're enjoying them lots more to come.
I'm trying to finish the "Clone Wars" on Netflix (on Season 5 right now), and now that I am older and know who the people behind these voices are, I honestly have newfound appreciation for these characters. Thanks guys!
Probably my favourite original character from the series. Jim provided such great charisma and attitude to the character in his performance. Just a great job!
When Jim said that you were cheating because you weren't doing a character and that you were channeling Ewan I lost it
You should do an episode where you interview the voice of Plo Koon. Wait....what?.....Nevermind.
I had no idea that Hondo was voiced by Jim Cummings!!! That blows my mind!
"I don't think I've ever said this before..."
"This is the right place to do it."
> pause
"It's my bad Yul Brynner."
> internet implodes
21:28 "Waiter! We would like some ham, some cheese, some bread, and maybe one of those boom-boom-boom things."
Your face _lit_ up at that, as did mine. Jim Cummings is BRILLIANT.
I'm really loving these Clone War Conversations..Any chance we'll be seeing Sam Witwer or Dee Bradley Baker on future episodes?
For the whole conversation at the end, I had Minsc in my head.
This is such a cool series I love it!
God that reading at the end is so funny. Hondo is without a doubt one of my favorite characters in the Clone Wars!
The voice readings seem like they could be from an episode of the CW.
This deserves so many more views than it has, these videos are just glorious.
Harvey Thompson thx so much. Well I'm happy that they are getting at least what they are but I agree and hope that they would get shared and spread around more. They are a labor of love and my thanks to all who liked the Clone Wars and the fantastic actors I got to work with. Thx. JAT
A scene from Oliver Twist as Obi-Wan and Hondo? I couldn't stop smiling.
I can not get enough of theses episodes!
If we get an Obi-Wan Kenobi Movie, I would love it if Obi-Wan and Hondo could team up one last time.
Wow! I'm so appreciative that a great voice actor like you is doing these episodes! Keep it up!
These readings at the end of the show are so much fun. It's less about the scene they are reading but more of getting to watch them work, to see how they project those characters through their voice first hand instead of through the cartoon. Thank you JAT for ending your episodes in this manner.
Hondo as the Artful Dodger is so perfect
These are always a lot of fun to watch, great episode. The Pilf joke was a good laugh! Thanks again for the time you put into this!
I heard Jim's voice in a quest in World of Warcraft and he basically doing Hondo. Couldn't see the npc the same way again. It was just Hondo the whole time I was with that character.
Cool Episode! Really enjoyed listening to my favorite character as always (obi-wan) along side one of the most exciting and well thought out scums of the galaxy (Hondo)... that Jim is amazing! Please keep them coming.
Jim is a classic actor. I love his voice!
I had a bad day...but it just got better! Thanks :)
Really really loving Clone Wars Conversations! Nice choice for the second episode. The art work that shows throughout the show its beautiful as well. Big fan of Joe Hogan as well. Are Bail or Asajj in the pool of possibilities by any chance?
Taylor DePetris yes Joe's art is such a wonderful bonus to the show!! And yes, both have been reached out to and will be on in the coming months.
YAY!!!!!!! It's here, it's here it's here!!!!!!!!! 😱😱😱😱😱😱👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great episode!!! Can't wait for more!
Great episode! Keep up the good work Mr. Taylor. I'll be sharing your videos as much as possible.
Man I miss Clone Wars... thanks for doing this show JAT, it's nice to see how the cast is doing
Always loved Hondo.
Another fantastic episode! I hope there will be some recurring guests like Jim Cummings because you know there are more stories to share.
I grew up watching clone wars and to be able to watch this, it's so awesome!!
My favorite Hondo scene will always be when he forgives his group for betraying him because "that's what we do". So so good.
I frigging love Hondo.
Iam loving these episodes!!!! Loved Hondo so much he was one of my fav supporting characters so many great lines!!! I love the line "You're welcome, I am gone, I will send for my things!" Also I think it was Hondo's episode in S2 where his little pet monkey was voiced by Matt lanter for that episode. Looking forward to more clone wars conversations
Who else remembers Minsc and Boo from Baldur's Gate?
Thank you so much for doing these. The Clone Wars is my favorite cartoon, and it is a big part of my life. I love these so much and I can't wait to see more conversations
Such a great series and a wonderful man
What a jolly guy! :D
Fantastic episode once more. Thank you James for bringing us these behind the scene moments.
Hondo started as an annoyance to me but became legendary very quick. Absolutely love the character.
Discovered this series via a reaction to the Princess Bride conversation animation. Binging them now!
This was absolutely delightful! I love that you're continuing with reading passages from old literature, those passages in these voices definitely make my life better. Looking forward to the next one!
love it! can't wait to see who will converse next :D.
Thank you Mr. Taylor for doing this show! I like the sense of nostalgia you bring!
Only just finished watching 'The Clone Wars' recently and this idea for a show is a GREAT way to keep it alive. This episode was just AWESOME!!! Would love to see you have a conversation with Clancy Brown :)
Most amazing episode!!!! Thank you a million times over for making this!!!! When I watched this I had to call my whole family in to watch it a second time.....TRUE ART!!!
Woohoo! Waited in excitement for this next episode and was not disappointed! Thank you again Mr. Taylor!
I love this show.. i hope we willl see many more of this. keep up the great work, sir. :)
So happy that I found this. Thank you for the wonderful interview and a glimpse behind the curtain of the performers that bring our favorite characters to life.
Easy to Abandon thank you! Hope you saw episode 1 as well and there's more to come.
Thank you so much Mr. Taylor! This is awesome! I love finding out about the actors behind the voices. I love this video, I cried laughing at parts. The "Oliver Twist" scene is priceless. Very well done and I look forward to more conversations.
Another wonderful episode! I can't get over these readings at the end. All the things I never knew I wanted until now. Thank you so much for putting this together--keep up the good work!
Another great show James! Miss the Clone Wars so much!
I remember when this came out last year, i was in the maui airport waiting for my flight. I was crazy anxious cause i don't like flying and this came out at the perfect moment to calm my anxiety. Thank you for this. I come back to it every so often to try and get that voice down
This was lots of fun. :) Thank you, JAT!
Thank you JAT for this podcast

Fantastic.
Thanks JAT. Another great episode!
Love the show James. I can't wait to see Matt Lanter on here!!!
Hey JAT! Really enjoyed this second episode. We love these behind the scene conversations of a series that was a part of our coming of age phase. Working hard one day so we get the chance to interview you sometime soon. MTFBWY!
great episode had lots of fun watching!
This was fantastic oh my goodness
What a great series thanks for doing this James!

Great show
Great job with this interview James!!
Thank you so much for making this!!
YESSS EPISODE 2!!!
He's AMAZING!
Obi-wan and Hondo in the thumbnail? *fuck yeah!*
These are so amazing!
I extremely miss Star Wars Weekends. I was there for Jim's visit. I have the video up on my youtube channel titled Star Wars Weekends 2013: Star Wars Voices, May 26th, 2013 at the 12:00pm show. I kind of had a crush on Jim Cummings when I was 13-14 years old when he was the voice of Drake Mallard and Officer Pickle on Bonkers.
huh, I didn't know you had a youtube channel! big fan and love your voice acting
Just That Guy glad you found it. If you check out the playlists you'll find my Vlogs take you into the studio to see many of my Voice-Acting sessions and more. There's lots to check out!
These episodes are amazing! I'd love to see Sam Witwer on the show and get a good ol' Kenobi/Maul sass battle going
JIM!!!
The picture on Obi Wan and Hondo in the thumbnail 😂
Man, it's such a shame that this gets so few views. I'm off to Reddit to get more people to watch this.
What do ya know, it is reddit that led me to this channel! Unfortunately I'm a little late
IT'S JOE HOGAN'S ART! I have been thinking for days who you could've commisioned to do this, and why it looked so familiar.
Describing Dee Bradley Baker who is awesome voicing all the clones… Then Jim goes that does sound like his squeak! Good times!
I am so in love with this show! Thanks for keeping the Clone Wars alive. Does anyone know how often he plans on uploading these?
Emma Rae yes, I know how often ; ). I've got four more shot and several more scheduled in the coming weeks. So the plan is a weekly show thx!
Favorite Hondo Scene -
"You will pay for your insolence!"
"INSOLENCE?!? We are pirates! We don't even know what that means!"
*Insolence
fixed
Adrian Africa yup, hmm… Dooku also said that to Anakin.
"OPEN FIRE"
If one hostage is good, two are better, and three... well that’s just good business
