I'm literally almost crying. Lzzy is the best person you'll probably ever meet in the entire world. I haven't met her yet, but it's my goal. I've been tweeting Lzzy since January about the ending of my battle with self harm. I've been battling it for 2 years and this year is my quitting point. January 15th, I tweeted Lzzy Hale, thanking her for inspiring me to stay strong and how I was 24 days clean. She tweeted me back telling me she was proud of me. That was the first time she had ever tweeted me back and I cried so much because I wasn't expecting her to tweet me back. She's been tweeting me back every month since then and now, tomorrow, I will be 4 months clean. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have such motivation to keep going. She motivates me to keep on going. I look forward to tweeting her every time I'm a whole new month clean and that's what's keeping me strong.
If anybody watching this is discovering Lzzy Hale for the first time, go and see her live with Halestorm! Her vocals and her brother Arejay on drums are insanely good!

This is an excellent song. It blows me away each time I listen to it. I'm a Sunday morning organist and it's always great to have a large hymn that necessitates the use of pulling out the stops on the Chorus Reeds and Mixtures, that send chills up a person's spine. I look for songs that are just as empowering outside of Church repertoire. This wonderful song delivers such a driving power it gives me goosebumps from it's meaning and sound. I am impressed as to how well you deliver even in your live performances. Most artists this day in age lose control of their stage performances because their ears lie to them, but you always deliver spot on regardless of being in the Studio, live tv or concerts. Thank you again for such a wonderful song!
this is amazing, classical music on violin with an upbeat dubstep melody background and a rocking powerhouse vocalist. I was blown away on how amazing it all went together. People that say that the violin is old and it's too classic and for old people, they amuse me. I tell them that they don't even know at what level is the violin right now and how much it really rocks. Just simply amazing.

I just discovered Halestorm a week or two ago through a multifandom video and fell in love with they're music. Then decided to see what Lindsey's album would song like since I saw Lzzy post about it on twitter, I had known about Lindsey for sometime know but was super happy when I heard the snippet of the song.
I never heard of Lizzy Hale before. After listening to Shatter Me, I began to listen to her and I kind of enjoy her music. So thank you, Lindsey, discovering her for me.
Its so cool and ironic, I found Lindsey while searching for Skyrim videos, of all things, and came across her cover of it. Since then, I've discovered so many more talented artists I had never listened to before thanks to Lindsey's collaborations.
I've been listening to the previews on Amazon, and immediately latched onto Shatter Me (the song, although the entire album is awesome), declaring it one of my favorites. A couple of weeks later, this comes out. Mind. Blown.
I remember how when I first heard the teaser for the song in this video, I literally cried because #1 it was incredible and #2 my hype-o-meter basically blew up and I couldn't wait to hear the album. The same thing happened when she released The Arena before Brave Enough. Lindsey album drops legit give me life lol

This sounds really silly..but I was just watching behind the scenes of the We are the world video..and like with Lzzy..it's so jarring these days to see a singer just belt out amazing lyrics live. These days everything is so produced/tweaked/autotuned you forget sometimes what real singers sound like and how powerful that can be. Rock on girls!

Not only are you so extremely talented with your dancing, violin and many other thing, not only did you mention God in one of your videos, but you also mentioned an eating disorder. You didn't say much about it, but it was enough to inspire me since I also have a chronic eating disorder that has been a thorn in my side for years now, and I'm still suffering from it. Just hearing you say that gives me the hope that I can be successful someday at the things that I love and my art. It gives me hope that despite having this sickness, I can pull through and be a recognized artist like you someday. I mean, I'm not really talented in the musical industry, I love singing, but my passion lies with drawing. I've been feeling so discouraged lately, and seeing this video has raised my spirits up. I can't wait to hear the song! I'm pretty sure it'll give me frissions. Thank you so much.

One thing I like about Lindsey is that she has quality in everything she does. The song production is amazing (being a sound engineer myself, I can tell trust me) and the video is so unique and well done. Keep up the good, quality work!

Shatter Me is my favorite song from you, miss Stirling., now I can understand how this song struck me so strongly. This song, THIS SONG, sort of produced an epiphany for me, like a muse. As a result, another story of mine was born. I am almost done completing the first version of the story. I'll have to recruit and editor and a collaborator to improve how the story is explained, than will most certainly have it published. It will mean a lot to me if you would read at least the rough version of the story when I'm done. I'm soon to complete it. It's called Color Me in Serenity and it's posted on various sites right now. I won't leave blue links, because that may be considered suspicious, but you can google, bing or ask the story and it will show up. Point being said, you, Hale and the Shatter Me video have been a significant inspiration to me, so thank you a lot.
What I love about Halestorm is that they've brought back that fun, head-banging hard rock that I loved from the 80's. While it's not the exact same music, it still has that feel....for me at least. From the bits and pieces I heard from this video, I'm on board!

I absolutely love Lzzy Hale, too! (and Lindsey). I had the awesome opportunity to go backstage and interview Lzzy for my "Celebrating Women in Metal" Book that released a couple months ago. She & her bandmates were so hospitable and down to earth!
Well, if you google "orchestra bankruptcy" you can see it’s "almost" dying. :P The outlook is pretty grim to say the least as most modern ppl think they look boring and prefer something more like Halestorm’s. I mean, who manufactured a violin hero controller, right? ;) Even if it wasn't Lindsey's intention, she will destroy them more. Cuz ppl are gonna expect more from "violins" after seeing Lindsey. Then perhaps the only way to "revive classical" is if some kids grow up blending it with ballet training or something, which will be a while from now. The coming of this "disruptor" (Lindsey) is actually pretty significant, cuz as she proves her art form, progressives will realize this is the way to sell tickets to instrumental performances and it will trickle across industries. And henceforth Lindsey will become the new Mozart class influence of the future! A whole new order of musical performance arts will be born! :D

I remember how when I first heard the teaser for the song in this video, I literally cried because #1 it was incredible and #2 my hype-o-meter basically blew up and I couldn't wait to hear the album. So sweet and absolutely amazing. I enjoy getting to see these BtS videos. Lizzy does have a voice that just shreds so hard. Seeing Lindsey enjoying herself just makes me smile.

This sounds really silly..but I was just watching behind the scenes of the We are the world video..and like with Lzzy..it's so jarring these days to see a singer just belt out amazing lyrics live. These days everything is so produced/tweaked/autotuned you forget sometimes what real singers sound like and how powerful that can be. Rock on girls!

Lindsey, I absolutely fell in love with the song! I would suggest trying Celine Dion as well... as a celine fan, we always end up loving the people celine helps outs! Gosh Groban, Garou, Veronic Dicaire, etc.

I was almost brought to tears by this... Not only are you so extremely talented with your dancing, violin and many other thing, not only did you mention God in one of your videos, but you also mentioned an eating disorder. You didn't say much about it, but it was enough to inspire me since I also have a chronic eating disorder that has been a thorn in my side for years now, and I'm still suffering from it. Just hearing you say that gives me the hope that I can be successful someday at the things that I love and my art. It gives me hope that despite having this sickness, I can pull through and be a recognized artist like you someday. I mean, I'm not really talented in the musical industry, I love singing, but my passion lies with drawing. I've been feeling so discouraged lately, and seeing this video has raised my spirits up. I can't wait to hear the song! I'm pretty sure it'll give me frissions. Thank you so much.

One thing I like about Lindsey is that she has quality in everything she does. The song production is amazing (being a sound engineer myself, I can tell trust me) and the video is so unique and well done. Keep up the good, quality work!
I'll admit I had never heard of Lzzy Hale, or Halestorm for that matter... but because I love Lindsey Stirling's music, I didn't think twice when it come across my screen.... well, I think now at this point, some of my family and friends are so tired of me playing this song EVERYTIME i get in the car, or if I'm doing stuff around the house. One of my favorite songs to blast any chance I get.

Shatter Me is my favorite song from you, miss Stirling., now I can understand how this song struck me so strongly. This song, THIS SONG, sort of produced an epiphany for me, like a muse. As a result, another story of mine was born. I am almost done completing the first version of the story. I'll have to recruit and editor and a collaborator to improve how the story is explained, than will most certainly have it published. It will mean a lot to me if you would read at least the rough version of the story when I'm done. I'm soon to complete it. It's called Color Me in Serenity and it's posted on various sites right now. I won't leave blue links, because that may be considered suspicious, but you can google, bing or ask the story and it will show up. Point being said, you, Hale and the Shatter Me video have been a significant inspiration to me, so thank you a lot.

What I love about Halestorm is that they've brought back that fun, head-banging hard rock that I loved from the 80's. While it's not the exact same music, it still has that feel....for me at least. From the bits and pieces I heard from this video, I'm on board!
I saw Halestorm last week in Bristol and was blown away! She is a brilliant front women, so inspiring. I hope to one day see Lindsey live too :D

Well, if you google "orchestra bankruptcy" you can see it’s "almost" dying. :P The outlook is pretty grim to say the least as most modern ppl think they look boring and prefer something more like Halestorm’s. I mean, who manufactured a violin hero controller, right? ;)
Even if it wasn't Lindsey's intention, she will destroy them more. Cuz ppl are gonna expect more from "violins" after seeing Lindsey. Then perhaps the only way to "revive classical" is if some kids grow up blending it with ballet training or something, which will be a while from now. The coming of this "disruptor" (Lindsey) is actually pretty significant, cuz as she proves her art form, progressives will realize this is the way to sell tickets to instrumental performances and it will trickle across industries. And henceforth Lindsey will become the new Mozart class influence of the future! A whole new order of musical performance arts will be born! :D

This song is absolutely breathtaking LindseyTime. Being a huge fan of Lzzy Hale and Halestorm, when i first saw that you had done a collab with her, i was honestly alittle suprised! I wasnt really sure how it was going to go, but the first time i watched the "Shatter Me" video, i was blown away, it gave me goosebumps and to this day i still listen to it daily haha.
