I own a 2016 Honda Jazz that we had bought after a lot of deliberation. We analysed all the options in the segment and even considered cars a segment higher. Still, we bought Jazz as it was a a perfect family car with a lot of practicality. It had arear view camera, too, the first in its class.I found it a little underpower initially but later found it was just a clutch control adaptability issue(We own a 2015 TATA safari and had a 2007 Wagon R ) . I agree it is a feature deficient car when compared to baleno and i20 but when you drive it on highway at higher speeds , it is very composed and stable.The steering is also very good so handling is not a issue as such. What I feel lacking the most is a telescopic steering. My legs are long and hands comparatively shorter. So when I sit higher either my feet touch the under dash or I have to overreach the steering wheel. If I sit low the problem is n longer present but since the dash is a bit higher some visibility is compromised. Above all I love it.
This guy has literally done the camerawork in such a way that the car looks unproportionate and the rear rim is missing the wheel cover. Any car would look not that good in this stance.
I had jazz 2011 model . Sold that car. And bought the new jazz 2021 model. It's the best car in the segment . Great looks, superbly practical and being HONDA ITS THE MOST RELIABLE CAR

Let me answer the question...... Why did Honda Jazz failed in india: 1. Most people dislike it's looks, I personally love it. 2. Misses just a little features, indian citizens swear by the features. 3. Indians don't like good handling cars as both baleno and i20 are quite literally shit when it comes to car handling. 4. Indians are ready to compromise on sheet metal, plastic and fit and finish quality. 5. Indians like crammed interiors in their cars.

Bro looks of car is a personal matter, apart from that I guess safety is must for every individual, compare to i20 and baleno , Honda jazz is most safer than their rivals as it has got 5 star rating from NCAP India. Yes agreed on your point of market competition it doesn't got the upgrade regarding AVN system ,but on interior cabin space and practicalities ,jazz is quite ahead of it's rival. While I agree that sustained high rpm runs are bad... Its not wrong to be in the power band when you want to overtake ☺️ . Just drop a gear and disappear.
Apart from technical point and internal looks, I want to differ slightly for external looks. I personally feel Jaaz external looks a bit different. And on handling and cornering point I feel confident during test drive. Overall not bad.

Rented on from zoomcar so that I can go out and make video, otherwise I end up making on on my chair. Jazz has capability and that is why I made a video. But you can not deny the fact that this car need a major update and one exclusive strong point to get what it deserves.

You are only talking about the aesthetics of the car... That is subjective... This car has great practicality. However, you should have spoken about the ownership cost, i.e. maintainince, how costlier the spare parts are as compared to other manufacturers. That is very. Important. I feel honda is very expensive on the ownership aspect, thats why maruti and Hyundai take a leap.

According to me jazz is the best car for a hatchback, i20 and baleno are not at its level(sorry) baleno just offer lots of features at low price and i20 has a great look but if we look at its performance this car has to be changed after 6 years or so and where as jazz can be driven for at least 11 years even if the odometer is more than 2lakh kms its the most stable car and the technology of honda is surely better than hyundai and suzuki so according to me jazz is the best !!! even I'm planning to buy one asap !!!! The looks of the jazz are very nice and the cabin is superb as well the quality of plastic is awesome . I love this car and i want it asap !!!

I have seen on many other international youtubers channel that when they want to buy a car they can get a car to test for 2-3days or a week many times but I havent seen such a thing in India..the test drives are really short sometimes even less than a km so it is hard to judge the car for our day to day usability..i want to ask whether are dealers in India also providing cars for a longer test drive like this and if yes how to ask the dealer to give us the same..i am looking to buy a 7-8Seater and am looking at Innova Crysta Hexa and endeavour 2.2

1. Most people dislike it's looks, I personally love it.
2. Misses just a little features, indian citizens swear by the features.
3. Indians don't like good handling cars as both baleno and i20 are quite literally shit when it comes to car handling.
4. Indians are ready to compromise on sheet metal, plastic and fit and finish quality.
5. Indians like crammed interiors in their cars.
Indians don't like great fuel efficiency.
Indians don't like great looking interior and dashboard.
jazz is a perfect all rounder
1.it is the second most fuel most efficient car in India
2.it is in the 7th place of worlds safest small cars HONDA FIT

Missing arm rest ,no apple carplay or Android auto,noprojectors and drls too,no keyless entry are major drawbacks in jazz 2019.this car is starving for such upgrade all others honda car have received such feature only jazz is ignored by honda.
Its usp is cvt and paddle shifters.

9.) Collapsible steering. Jab nak phutegi tab iska importance samaj aayega.
10.) 3 cameras for reverse parking. Normal, wide aur top view mode....aur shayad aapko bhi pata hai ki field of view badhne se safety enhance hoti hai.

How can a plastic car (Baleno) be better than Jazz? There are 2 jazz in my house. And I love using them. Whatever you said is not Agreeable. Stop spreading Hyundai love just because you have a i20.
Why Jazz is better than Baleno and i20
1) Safety - better build quality and safety ratings (only 5star rated car in the segment)
2) Space - In front and back seats, ensures comfortable ride quality
3) mileage - Better than Baleno and i20
4) The Honda engine is smooth and noise free as ever, other two mentioned above don't even come close
Bro looks of car is a personal matter, apart from that I guess safety is must for every individual, compare to i20 and baleno , Honda jazz is most safer than their rivals as it has got 5 star rating from NCAP India. Yes agreed on your point of market competition it doesn't got the upgrade regarding AVN system ,but on interior cabin space and practicalities ,jazz is quite ahead of it's rival. Moreover about ivtech engines all are aware about it.
for the ivtec , it needs your car's engine to rev higher and i nthe long term you put more ressure on the engine so it's not all that good

That engine is a derivative of the L15 series which is used for Ford formula 1 racing.
It has been proven to handle much higher stress ☺️ .

The actual redline will be over 8500 rpm.. the redline limit set by the factory is a safe one at 6600 rpm..

Apart from technical point and internal looks, I want to differ slightly for external looks. I personally feel Jaaz external looks a bit different. And on handling and cornering point I feel confident during test drive. Overall not bad.

Jazz has capability and that is why I made a video. But you can not deny the fact that this car need a major update and one exclusive strong point to get what it deserves.

Yeah polo got better build quality, but no leg space, no head room, poor petrol engine, bland look including interior, less features, more expensive etc.

However, you should have spoken about the ownership cost, i.e. maintainince, how costlier the spare parts are as compared to other manufacturers. That is very. Important. I feel honda is very expensive on the ownership aspect, thats why maruti and Hyundai take a leap.

According to me jazz is the best car for a hatchback, i20 and baleno are not at its level(sorry) baleno just offer lots of features at low price and i20 has a great look but if we look at its performance this car has to be changed after 6 years or so and where as jazz can be driven for at least 11 years even if the odometer is more than 2lakh kms its the most stable car and the technology of honda is surely better than hyundai and suzuki so according to me jazz is the best !!! even I'm planning to buy one asap !!!! The looks of the jazz are very nice and the cabin is superb as well the quality of plastic is awesome . I love this car and i want it asap !!!

I have seen on many other international youtubers channel that when they want to buy a car they can get a car to test for 2-3days or a week many times but I havent seen such a thing in India..the test drives are really short sometimes even less than a km so it is hard to judge the car for our day to day usability..i want to ask whether are dealers in India also providing cars for a longer test drive like this and if yes how to ask the dealer to give us the same..i am looking to buy a 7-8Seater and am looking at Innova Crysta Hexa and endeavour 2.2
