I've owned both and the Honda is much more rewarding to own and drive. It's ride, handling, and driving dynamics are better than the Toyota.

Would you have concerns about the 1.5t engine, though? I’m in the market, and I’m considering this trim level and also a ‘25 Camry SE. Had a few old Accords. I have never had a Toyota. I need a car today. Would you also consider a K5?

I had problems with my Honda accord CVT transmission and Honda wouldn’t do anything about it, they checked it out and told me that it was nothing wrong, BS. Be weary of the CVT transmissions, the car was new and only had a couple thousand miles on it, I dumped the accord and I will never buy another Honda because the way I was treated by them

Accord and Camry will always be a coin toss decision. Neither one is objectively better than the other. It all comes down to subjective preference.
I would even mix in the Sonata and it’s K5 cousin.

Looks matter. Camry tweaked a good looking design and are selling like hotcakes. Honda take a hard left turn away from the typical design and it's just hard to love. Even this review talked about the boxier look and gave a half hearted 'it's good looking.'
If it looked as good as the new Civic or 10th gen Accord, I'd buy one in an heartbeat. I wanted to buy it....but it's like the episode of Seinfeld where he was dating the woman that only looked good in certain light and certain angle....but any other light/angle...

This 1.5T trim of the Accord suffers from the Holy Trinity of Awful Modern Tech: 1. A traditional CVT tranny. 2. A tiny motor with a turbo. 3. Direct injection. Want to know why Honda no longer sits alongside Toyota/Lexus atop all the reliability lists, the way they always used to? That's why. Traditional CVTs, turbos, and direct injection. Back in the mid-2010s Honda made a conscious decision to sacrifice long-term (and even short-term) reliability for fuel savings/emissions compliance, and the current-gen Accord is the latest result. Mid-pack reliability, meh performance, and plummeting sales.
Compare this to the Camry: no turbo, no direct injection, and an e-CVT instead of a traditional CVT. Toyota's e-CVT will outlast nearly any traditional transmission, and certainly all conventional CVTs. A larger, naturally aspirated motor instead of a tiny motor with a turbo is a no-brainer for longevity, and Toyota's D-4S port/direct injection fueling system means the Camry's intake valves will not suffer from carbon buildup. The Honda has no port injection. DI only means the Accord's motor will eventually see a buildup of carbon sludge on the intake valves. Bottom line, the Camry will not only outperform the Honda, it will definitely outlast it as well, while also offering more power, stronger acceleration, better fuel mileage, and available AWD on all trims. It's really no contest. The current base Camry stomps the 1.5T Accord.
Comparing the hybrid versions, the gap isn't as large as it is with the base trims, but the Camry still tops the hybrid Accord. Lower cost, better fuel mileage, more power, more options, stronger acceleration, a 50% longer hybrid battery warranty, superior exterior styling, a more proven hybrid system, and available AWD. The Accord has the slightly nicer, quieter interior, and a larger backseat and trunk, but it's close, and those are really the Accord's only advantages. In every other meaningful metric, the new Camry has the latest Accord covered.
