Again, this new Omega Red release is light years better than CB. Eventually, ppl will start noticing the game is improving. I think we are probably a month or two from that happening.
I think that we should be cautious with the praising tho, it has been a super common occurance for them to follow up good things happening with a slap in the face. Before Captain Britain got the ball rolling on the shit show of the last few months, we were saying similar things about the game really turning things around.
I agree - there is a feeling of positive change in spite of the usual blunders - and this event seems quite regular player friendly (if you are high enough level that is)
Honestly, both the ease of f2p completing and the rewards for it were absolutely great and honestly the type of thing I expected of the frozen dimension. I think overall a great release method for an epic character. I enjoyed it. I wouldn't be surprise if I broke out about even on resources that I put into it compared to the rewards in terms of gold and purple iso. Maybe slightly short in terms of gold since I probably wasn't leveling up Ms Marvel and Wasp anytime soon. I do think it would suck for anyone who hasn't done Odin yet, but they can still easily get 3 stars. Even newish players can get 2, which is way better than not unlocking. Outside of some minor tuning issues (and obviously the delay in releasing it), this feels like what special events should be from this game. Basically, level up a handful of characters in away you might not have for some slightly challenging content (a few resets for lower star characters should be expected), and we will reward you with some of the resources you spent and a cool (hopefully?) character as well. I like it. Hopefully more events like this.

For all nodes in one shot finish I used the following teams. Cabal 1-10, Air force: Photon, Kahhori, Ms Marvel. Avengers: Hank(barriers negated all damage), Storm and Jean. Xmen: Nightcrawler/Jean, Logan and Storm(the controls were constant). Easy peasy. It really was five built up after my Odin unlock ! I used Storm with Nightcrawler and Illumaniti for my second run it was one shot with her too
I got stuck on the last wave of floor 20 with a 1V1 of my Old Man Logan against Captain America and it turned into a never ending back and forth even with a maxed OML.
I basically just ran Jean, Beast, and Storm wherever I could and walked though it. Nothing could kill them except for that juiced up Thor at the very end. So much easier than I was expecting!
It’s just the striker iso on the enemy. Because it scales off their health is a striker enemy character hits into a vulnerable it does like 6M damage lol

The only reason I was interested in this event was the purple ISO. Omega red was a nice little bonus (If they make better crucible rewards sucks being a tryhard just for a maxed out store). So no way I'm gonna waste purple b4 dd8 is done.
Wait... I guess I have to re-run it now. I got to floor 19 and had Storm at 20 charges, but when I started the floor she only had 4. I never once used her ultimate, so I don't know what happened. :/ I thought it was something about the floor, but you were able to start with the full charges.
@@DorkyDadMSF Yeah, apparently something weird happened. When I re-ran it, I was able to start with the full 20 charges. I was thinking I was going to have to find another way to tackle it, but thanks to your video I was able to see it was just a bug so it was worth restarting. Thanks! ^.^

Yeah it's easy when all your characters are max level and items, but for the other people who can't spend unlimited money on this game or just started a few months ago it's a little bit harder.
I understand your frustration but know that if you are a ftp player, who is highly engaged, and you’ve been playing since the release of purple iso, this event is incredibly easy both to get into and beat. I spent 20$ on Jean Grey and NOTHING on MSM. Kahhori I had a giant stash of cores and cored her orb every single day. Plus you did not need a Kahhori like mine or even close to as built as mine is. There are times to rip on events and modes for pay gating points and content, this 100% is not one of those times. And when people cry foul when it does not apply it makes our complaints mean less when they are actually needed.

Just not sure how you, and some of the other content creators, are able to get all relevant toons up to max level and stars on just F2P. i had about 2 or 3 years on your baby account, and that roster was still well beyond mine. And i play this silly game way too much as it is. How are you able to build up all you're tunes so quickly without feeding copely quarters? I'm stuck on Node 13 since i don't have bulky a force yet.
Are you dropped 50cores 4x per day and farming gold / training orb fragments? Thats plus farming the arena store was how I somewhat kept up on the baby account. Also have to be in an active alliance that doesn’t ignore war. War gives lots of extra gold for wins and season placement
preloaded Turn meter is stupid, no matter the amount, it mess up with the whole speed and turn order concept "hey, i have storm at 131 speed, 6th fastest character of the game, but she get wrecked turn 1 because the game dev though that it would be funny to put a Goor at 129 speed that start with 20% speed bar, and he mess up storm by removing all her charges" that not fun, having bigger focus/damage/health/resistance to make the foes on par with modern character? fine, maybe play around with tags too, like if you have a bunch of Xmen, add a Dazzler and treat every Xmen as a Unlimited Xmen so she get turn meter each time you land some debuff but don't mess with the raw speed of character, i should be able to know how a node play out without having to check datamines or whatever in case there is some weird manipulation if Storm go faster than gorr in every regular game mode, i should be able to expect storm to go faster than gorr in a kyln, pocket dimension or whatever you want. there is more than a few character that have decent kits, just powercreep stat wise and their team are kinda meh synergy wise compared to modern team, like take Longshot, if you give him modern stats and treat a few character into X-Factor, then suddenly you have a guy that can make the opponent go crazy turn meter wise, which mean you have to be smart and bring someone that stop turn meter, or try to get ride of Longshot early Of course, those change need to be notified somewhere, like a note saying "X-Men foes are treated as X-Factor characters" or "War abilities are active in this fight" so people can know about it before rushing into the fight

Miss marvel Classic is a surprisingly great character! Especially when paired with Kahhori

It was Iron man that actually killed Jean here, same happened to me. His dmg doesnt even look high when I checked the stats.
