I have learnt that spending quality time with God in prayer and communing with Him is beyond asking Him for my need and leaving; but it’s a place where I find rest, restoration, peace, joy etc. thank you for this sound teaching pastor Paul.

@30:13 - I'm so glad the Lord waited to reveal your channel to me for this season of my life. I get so much out of each video. God loves me...what can I do but love God and love others? I'm honestly seeking the Lord daily, and your messages help keep me focused. Praises to God and thanks to him for you and your wife and ministry to all of us with His Word. I love you, bother.

This whole business of loving self I have just remembered from a teaching from a famous female teacher who said in a book 'How can you love others if you cant love yourself.?' and I believed that. How wrong I was. I even remember saying that to others who lack confidence in themselves. Thank you Pastor Paul.

I enjoy your teaching on the book of Luke. God is not in 3 persons. He is one God who has manifest himself in 3 ways. God is a spirit…He is The Holy Spirit. God robed himself in flesh and dwelt among us and gave himself for us. The theology of God in three distinct persons just doesn’t line up with the Word.

And in response to my own comment. I felt the Lord say to me. This man is doing a work for my kingdom. Can you say that? We may not agree on the triune God, but I’ve listened to your teaching and it has inspired and helped me. Thank you for your burden to share the gospel.

So isn’t this a commends that you must love thy neighbor as yourself. If you don’t love yourself you can’t love anyone. Not in worldly way ,but love yourself to have compassion on others as Jesus did.

So what is it that we are actually supposed to do?
Based on what this man is saying we are to have nothing for ourselves and take zero care of ourselves. So if I’m understanding this correctly nothing that happens to me matters, absolutely nothing. I’m also to have no ambitions or aspirations.
    Is that correct?
I would love for this pastor to answer this question and greet and practical detail
