Panguitch Lake is situated at an elevation of 8,212 feet approximately 18 miles southwest of Panguitch, Utah. The lake is the source of Panguitch Creek and is fed by three small inlet streams: Blue Springs Creek, Clear Creek, and Ipson Creek.

Currently, Lake Panguitch is closed to fishing, and the highway from the lake to the town of Panguitch is closed due to a crack found in the dam. This could screw up my summer as I have cabin reservations at the lake on several different dates. Just my luck.
