Got family in Sheffield, when my parents split up when I was a kid, over 35yrs ago now, and it was massive, but it was really nice place then in the 80s, stayed there a couple of weeks, and really enjoyed it traveling round the local places, Barnsley, chesterfield, and other places.
Football, cricket, tennis, golf were all copied from other nations and modified a bit. Football (and Polo) from the Afghans 'Bushkazi', cricket from the Pacific islands of Samoa 'Kirikiti', tennis from the Latin American Aztecs game, golf was a Roman game of holes that took various forms on the European continent after the fall of Rome.@@justinshore5566

Everyone from many schools knew about that fella's murder. There hasn't really been instances with that much notoriety *since* 2008, to put the safety of the city into perspective. The "Little Chicago" is news to me and I understand why, since it's a situation from 100 years ago.
