  • Let Bill help you master the rules for Cribbage!
Cribbage, a classic card game, originated in the early 17th century, credited to the English poet Sir John Suckling, who adapted it from an older game called "Noddy." Known for its unique scoring system and distinctive pegging board, Cribbage quickly gained popularity in England and spread to the American colonies, becoming a favorite among sailors and fishermen for its portability and engaging gameplay.
The game is typically played with a standard deck of 52 cards and involves two to four players. The objective is to be the first to reach a specified number of points, usually 121. Points are scored through various combinations of cards, both in hand and in a separate "crib" that is created during the game.
