My friends often say “what will you do when you’re old?” Erm... go on long fucking trips and not be a burden! Did they really only have kids to be their nursemaid before they croak? can you imagine if people actually had kids solely to look after them as old people their kids would leave and never look back before they even turned 18, I feel like wanting your kids to take care of you when you're old is a part of the parental instinct so you can't seperate it from the million other reasons people choose to have kids, if you don't want kids in the first place why would you want them to look after you when you're old anyway, you wouldn't even like them
