An era when devs had the freedom to create their vison, this was the result of a team of devs who cared about the game, the fans and their work, i hope they return to this style of creation in the next game but im not holding my breath. 8 years on still as strong as it was on day one if not stronger and loved. BF1 Forever 🖤

I don't get the impression Dice know how they did it last time. They clearly commissioned it and gave someone brilliant a lot of autonomy. That person is whom they need to get back. Every tiny detail of this game is gorgeous.
over 90 percent of the people that worked on this game left the company, but I heard the core team started embark studios. They made the finals and arc raiders so far. The finals was a good game in my opinion before all the balancing changes ruined it
This was a one hit wonder. This won't ever happen again...even if aaa gaming improves down the line....

@@skrunklyOwO there are many active servers. I played this game on xbox for 3 years up until 2 months ago then i switched to playstation and i play this game on PS now. Servers are active on both of the platform :)

This was the peak of gaming IMO. You had BF1, RDR2, (a playable)GTA5. Good times

yes pc is very sweaty, my advice is to find one or two consistent community servers. Some have discord where they tell members to hop on at certain times of the day. Beware of the west coast APOC server, the admin that owns that server uses dmg modifiers and see thru hacks. He will kick you if you point out that he uses hacks, or in my case, I got kicked for killing him too many times
@@OneVSAllGaming That whole APOC clan hacks their balls off. I got banned from one of their servers for calling them out.
@@drunkhusband6257 I recorded a video of that same admin using racial slurs at other players that were accusing him of hacks. I attached it to an email to see if EA/DICE would do anything but as I expected nothing. I doubt uploading it to youtube will do anything either

The last great BF game. Such a shame.
To casually man. It‘s a nice game but there are so many annoying things like suppression, unbalanced Vehicels and Weapons, no movement at all, sweet spot, the DLC maps are (at least on console) almost impossible to play because there are no full servers for them, horrible spawn system, gas granades and the list goes on. I had the potential to be the best Battlefield ever but DICE destroyed it at the end…

They really need to identify what made this game so successful and bring it into the next. I think it's absolutely pivotal that they do this. I think they're walking on thin ice at this point. Back when this game was made, there wasn't so much attention on work place and political compliance either. I think that has been a plague for creativity and quality game output.

@TheBrokenMachine Your using something. The lock on is egregious. You snap to targets. Easily spotted. Highly recommend working on finding a script in the free library to tune down the speed. You can also find some to lock onto different parts of the player so your headshot % doesn't skyrocket. If you really aren't using a chronus, next time you stream, display your whole set up including console or if your on PC same thing. You won't do it because you really are cheating just like the rest of the FPS online content creators. Notice everyone calling you a cheater? It's been almost a decade since chronus came out and it's still available for $99. Not everyone is a 14 year old kid or a 30year old jobless pothead.
@TheBrokenMachine it's honestly not that big of a deal anymore but I get wanting to keep the facade/illusion that all of you online FPS streamers. I mean in reality who hasn't been caught cheating yet? Some of the highest paid players in the world were caught cheating but you definite would never do that 🥇

I just started, so do I have to aim for the head with a melee to get an instant kill?
The heavier melee weapons like shovel, saber and hatchet do 50 dmg, so you have to hit a full health enemy twice. Smaller melee weapons like club or knife require 3 hits on full health enemy but attack speed is faster. Only way to instant kill a full health enemy with melee is bayonet charge or raider club
Different melee weapons also have different ranges tho. For example you can see in my trench raider video you can clearly tell the raider has longer melee range than normal melee weapons

@@charlessimons2851 thats why i play insurgency sandstorm 2 when i rarely play video games. Sure there are cheaters but not that 130 /1 kd in every single game. the last time i played this game i went online to see if the cheats are hard to find. With a single google for FREE you can see people through walls and i dont think EA updates the anticheat for this game. Ruined the game for me completely and it was my favourite fps. Amaazing maps atmosphere guns even the headshot sound was amazing but now its done. Maybe in console there are no cheaters i have no idea but in pc its totally fucked.
Nowadays people preffer that shit cod with all that skins, when this is a real game!

I love the game but just wish they had a decent anti cheat software. Some nights it is truly overwhelming.
