Yes that same thought crossed my mind also Bru although I think there is one other young woman that is rated with a chance also...just can't recall her name right now but anyhow getting back to Glennis being in the contest...I think she's obviously doing it for greater exposure & possibly recording contracts etc & any other benefits that would go with a win there..or even a place maybe?
She has succeeded in that respect already. She is flooded by US music labels with offers for record deals. It's getting crazy right now. She has to refer them to her management, since AGT has very strict rules/contracts. Also her Whitney tribute concerts in October are sold out now and there is a tremendous demand for a third concert (I would go there then!) but she has also of course commitments to AGT when she gets to the live shows. So she is very very busy, but rightly so. She deserved this international recognition for so long now. She is easily one the very few top singers in the world now, giving us so much pleasure listening to her music. Hopefully they take good care at AGT of this diamond.

I think she will never audition herself for a singing contest again. American Got Talent was once a nice experience for her. She is a professional artist so she loves to give concerts here and there. She has a new song now.
Well dayemmm, Why didn't she audition for "American Idol" in 2003? She coulda easily been that year's winner! Here, she chameleons Kelly Clarkson brilliantly!
It would be fun if Glennis would sing this song in the (semi)final on AGT for Simon. First time by Kelly Clarkson in American Idol, second time by Leona Lewis in X-Factor UK and third time by Glennis Grace in America's Got Talent. Then all the shows where Simon was/is involved have had this song performed.
i agree! glennis sang it like kelly almsot to the detail and both are great but leona took the wong to a whole different level by making the tempo less rushed and made the song very thick mid range belty and with amazing vocal transitions from chest to head with beautiful falsettos and headvoice! Leona really added an old school mariah/whitney mix to it all while still sounding very unique and leona ish!
This was 20 years ago and Glennis is still magical having just completed a show in Israel. Love her forever❤❤❤

I think Glennis is one of the world best live performers today.
There is plenty of Glennis live even acapella oustanding performances out there. If this was live she would have sounded better trust me.
