Can you tell me where is the coupon...?
I did not find it... 😁
Thank you so much. This was really helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this
You are welcome! Glad it helped
Very informative.
Glad it was helpful!
Maria Sklodowska Curie. Polska noblistka. Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱 ❤
Tak. She has always been my role model.
@@PostdocLife :-))))))
Thanks a lot for the useful information. This is a great help indeed. A small query.. I see a header on top of the pages. Is that the 'Acronym' that you used for the proposal?
Yes, that was the acronym for my project. The second part was in the .doc file for proposal template. I think instead of 'EF' (European Fellowship), they use 'PF' now, but it should be in the template. Don't add it if it's not.
It was a very useful summary, thank you for sharing your experience!
I had one (perhaps very basic) question, can we submit more than one application/proposal (with different supervisors)?
As far as I understand (from ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/docs/2021-2027/horizon/wp-call/2023-2024/wp-13-general-annexes_horizon-2023-2024_en.pdf), you can apply for multiple different projects under the same call (this means developing two distinct projects). But in practice, I am not sure anyone can pull it off (time commitment-wise). It would be better to go over the grant guidelines in careful detail, as the requirements slightly change year from year.
Thank you for sharing your expeerience. It was really interesting, very clear, and informative. I am gon a watch now your other video addressing gender dimension because I undrestand that it's very imporant for the evaluators. By the way, is there a discount (coupon/promotional code) to purchase the PDF of your successful application? Thanks once again and have a good day.
Thank you for watching. The coupon is the same MSCA_TH-cam. Let me know what videos I should make on the topic of MSCA applications in the future that could be useful.
Hello, should i submit as a main supervisor or as a researcher?
well... it depends if you are a supervisor or a researcher.
How can I get your slides?

The duration is 12months-24months. How does it decided? for postdoc, specifically. Thank you very much for your content
It depends on the applicant and the project. There might be a good reason (like a lined-up tenure track or government job) to design a shorter project. In practice, however, I don't think any applicant applies for a shorter grant period. If you decide to finish your project earlier (if, say, you find a job), it is accommodated and is very common among postdocs.
@@PostdocLife May I ask you one more thing please? I'm finding the advisor and host for MSCA 2023. However, I could not see a lot of post on euraxess now. Could you share how did you find the host and advisor?
Hi, depending on the topic you research, it's better if you contact professors directly, and then you together approach the universities. Usually, for universities, the more MSCA fellows they have, the better, so they will be accommodating as many as they can. Some universities are more popular than others, so they also have a candidate filtering procedures --- the calls usually open&close in June on uni/departments' websites (not Euraxess). So, it's good that you are starting early. For now, you need to polish your proposal (initial doesn't have to be perfect, but it has to be good enough to show off your strengths) and make a list of potential professors, and then start contacting them.
@@PostdocLife Thank you so much. So I need a proposal in advance when contacting a Professor? Or I just send a CV first, and then together with the Professor to make a proposal? I am really confused about this.
not a MSCA proposal, just a regular one like a research statement, which describes your research interests. You can even do it in the email itself without preparing a separate document.
