The 365 did set the bar high on capacity, but the jury is out on reliability. I have seen a lot of them be jammomatics. I think bringing the Nano into the APX line was smart because the design is solid, and now all of the Beretta striker pistols are consolidated into one lineup. Plus this doesn't completely hose nano owners. nano's weren't flying off the shelf, so I think it was a good step. If it feels and shoots good, i'll be happy to bring one into the collection!
I would have rather had a Gun Owners of America (GOA) card in the box and not the NRA card as the GOA does not compromise like the NRA does unfortunately. But thank for being pro 2nd Amendment in the United States of America. Wonderful Gun, wonderful Company.

Obviously the m&p shield is the competition they are going after, of which I own a 45ACP w/ integral laser & PC 9mm. I will try one of these at the range and may buy one anyway, when good holsters are available. It’s always nice to have a few concealed carry options. Long live Beretta. Since this looks very, very similar to the Nano which I owned, what changes have been made to ensure it is more reliable without the failure extract issues that plagued so many people? I loved the size and feel of the Nano, but it never fed reliably even with hotter Ammo.
Great question. While the looks of the frame are somewhat reminiscent of the Nano, in line with the basic design principles of Beretta. The slide is obviously an APX design, with even more aggressive serrations. The trigger mechanism is completely new, as is the firing mechanism and much of the chassis. It's an entirely new gun, from a functional and mechanical perspective.
Will a slide stop be available. For the nano in the near future. I prefer my nano over the rest if the pistols in its class I own. Hook me up with an owb holster and ill get a full size apx to replace my steyr m9a1. Ive always had your back in adversity.
Will the 17 and 21 round mags work in this as well. I love the box..not a fan of hard cases at all. Definitely ordering one online. Not going to.Cabelas bc they put ths T sticker on box and ruin the box. Just wished the box had foam in it like the sccy 9mm

@@vladboy1 It seems like terrible engineering to me, what happens if that plunger can’t come out the top of the slide because of an obstruction, probably your gun will not fire, Also the newer Beretta APX, it also have really thin handgrips, I have pretty small hands, and even I feel like it is way too small!

@Chad Hartlage yeah there is a pin you push in near the decocking pin, push this in allowed the slide back on, ended up selling it and buying a glock, don't regret it one bit

It’s not the nano. It doesn’t feel or shoot like the nano. The nano was actually a good little gun but the trigger was not the best. Not one bit. The APX line is a total improvement and not recycled old stuff. The full size is a fantastic shooter and can hold its own to the M&P in 9mm and even the Sig p320 in 9 of course. But single stack isn’t ideal with so many others squeezing ten rounds in the ZZ stack or one and half stack design like the p365. Hell my sig 938 has an extended ten round mag and factory eights and it’s a top shelf gun and even more compact. Still Beretta is a good Firearms company.
Count NOT disagree more. The Nano has a wonderful DAO trigger. Smooth, deliberate all the way through. I get the feeling you do not shoot DAO triggers very often. And how did you get a APX Carry when no one has one but a select few. Sorry, but you sound full of BS.
Hi. He said that the gun is shipped with an anti-corrosion coating. Such thick grease inhibits good firing. Many gun companies do this. Just wipe it down a little bit. Pull a patch through the barrel. I leave it on the rails. That is my amateur opinion as a long time gun owner.

Love Beretta it look nice, good ergonomics, perfect size and "good" for range (only). But lets be honest, in real life threatening situation where everything happens very fast you will miss the elephant with this pistol because of the BEST defense trigger!
Hopefully the warranty is more than 1 year. I'll probably never buy Beretta again unless they fix that. Standard from others such as S&W, Sig Sauer, Glock, etc. is "lifetime: warranty.

Is the A1 carry going to replace the regular Apx carry ? Not interested in putting a red dot on a pistol. I like the slide on the regular APX CARRY.
I have the Apx compact for about a year I shot about 5,000 rounds with all kinds of 9mm ammo before the ammo shortage, and had zone malfunctions

My slide refuses to go back on after a simple strip for cleaning, no matter which way the bolt is twisted it will not slide back on.
