S1 Phoebe would be proud of this fully-embraced witchy Piper And her stance here is ironic when you remember she initially wanted to bind her future daughter's powers in Morality Bites, but it was a difficult period for being a witch so it was understandable
That was future Piper, not current Piper. And future Piper planned to do that to keep Melinda safe because of the Witch Trials, so she wouldn't be caught and burned at the stake. Melinda doesn't exist in this timeline, because their lives have gone off the path of that timeline that they saw in the future in season 2. So in the present, Leo wants to bound the powers of a future child that isn't yet conceived in order to keep them safe... but Piper doesn't think that there is any need to do so. There is no current direct threat to her future child, like there would have been if the Witch Trials in that future had happened. It's also a question as to whether the Whitelighter powers can even be bound (other than intervention of the Elders themselves... we know they have the power to strip away a Whitelighter's powers because they did it to Leo that one time)? Piper could have bound her child's witch powers from her blood line, but would it be possible to bind the powers of the Whitelighter bloodline? Who knows!
Magic wise yes, as a person? No. Piper is the one who grew up hidden away from who she really was and had to find out late in life- with her sister dying from a demon and then being attacked with no protein or guidance as new witches. It makes sense that she wouldn’t want her own child to go through that too 🤷
Even in the alternate future where she had a girl instead of Wyatt , her daughter had powers. When her daughter revealed she was forbidden from using magic she couldn’t believe she told her daughter not to use her powers.
@@madisonvanessaroccoa-teller still doesn’t change the fact that piper didn’t want to bind her daughter. In fact later on she decided not to bind her powers even though it was a safety measure for the witch trials.
Not easy for Cole. I understand how he feels. Piper is right-magic is a gift. Powers are a gift too. Grams was right to bind their powers too-to protect them. I remember how they were when they were little. 2:18 Gram's ring taking effect
Did Leo forget. Grams bound their powers to protect them from the warlock Nickolas, who was too strong for her and Patty. Then when bring Tyler into the manor, he starts to project onto the kid. Trying to convince Piper to bind Tyler's on his terms (Leo's), instead of Tylers in the end. Piper would through out s6 b wanting a normal life. Actually she wanted a mortalish life. Magic is normal, just by a different standard. Think of panguins and ostrichs; they're birds but they but they don't fly. Cole's office is *way* too small for anybody.
I think it's a fairly accurate representation of the facts of the situation - social services is under funded. Legal aid is for people who need a free lawyer, so they don't actually make money from the clients! Probably in the real world it's TINY bit bigger - even an average bedroom is a bit bigger than the width of your arms! But probably not much bigger than the one on the TV show! Lol.
I agree with Piper their child should follow their destiny and practice using their powers and knowing how to control them so when their old enough they can fight evil on their own Prue Piper and Phoebe didn't know they had powers or that they were witches so they didn't know how to defeat demons and warlocks and Grams didn't want them to follow their destiny and become witches if there kids don't know how to train their powers and just have normal lives they won't know how to take down demons and warlocks or how to use their powers later on in the future so i'm with Piper on this one.
I don't think the threat was as great when they were babies. The world (of magic) knew that there was a prophecy that 3 witches would one day be the most powerful witches of all time, but the demons didn't know it would be the Halliwell girls. I'm sure that Patty and Grams had their share of demons to deal with, but far less than that of the Charmed Ones. Patty had two children with powers, but then when the 3rd was born they had all their powers bound. As Phoebe said in the 1st episode, they were safe as long as they were unaware... so the demonic world must have not considered those little girls any kind of threat. But when they got all their powers in episode 1, the demonic world became aware of their existence! The prophesied Charmed Ones - the 3 most powerful witches in the world - have been awakened, so now we need to hunt them down! And even when they were new to the craft, they were still more powerful than most of them! Lol. Remember all the times demons who were in the servitude of a demonic master refused to attack them because they were too powerful, and they wanted to live? Lol.
Wyatt had not yet been conceived! He was nothing but a twinkle in his daddy's eye. So he couldn't be harmed by a couple fighting over whether or not they were ready for children, as plenty of couples do! Yeesh! Don't you live on planet earth?
I mean. Wyatt very much did not grow up normal. I mean, I know what you are getting at, but not growing up normal is a pretty significant thing he did.
I love the slow fade into the second half of Phoebe hair cut lol her hair starts off as a blonde and then shifts to brown so they can cut It and transition to her “turning to the queen of evil storyline”
I've felt that Cole's biggest enemy was the writers on the show sometimes.
100%
Now Cole’s actor was resurged in a new movie called The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat

Julian wanted to leave. He did a really fantastic job with the character, but he didn’t want to be there forever.
He's fantastic in FBI:Most Wanted.

This argument between Piper and Leo makes no sense, it would make sense the other way around.
Ya, especially in s6 when she wanted a normal, or should I say...mortalish...life.

I’m on Leo side. Kids are hard enough without them having powers.
And I feel bad for Cole too. That’s an awful office
Prue should never leave the show and Cole did not have to be dead, he could be a good human and has a happy life with Pheobe
This is so out of character for Piper. Isn't she always the one who wants to be normal?
