Lol Lestat and Louis were NOT friends! It sounds like they have a very similar relationship as their actors do. I'm not surprised. Eventually Louis learn to get along but that was one tumultuous relationship both in the book and on the big screen. Only difference is there's no love between Pitt and Cruise.

Kilmer's a perfectionist, Brando had a lot of quirks he insisted on using to "maintain spontaneity"...it's only natural that they'd clash. Combine that with the fact that the director they had both agreed to work with got canned right after filming started, and you've got all kinds of trouble waiting to happen.

I can understand why Tommy Lee hated Jim Carey. Shame Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer didn't get along. I think they were pretty good. And producers and directors overpumped it. Just reacting to video. I really like them both. I didn’t watch the movie, because I honestly just don’t like the storyline. I’ll chalk it up to two people that simply rub each other the wrong way. I’ve never heard of either of them having issues on other sets. Sometimes two people simply do not get along.
