Those high notes were off the hook! Amazing vocals on display here, and the guitar work was nice too. The fact that they played and sung this out on the street makes it even more impressive...no studio trickery to make them sound better. They don't need none of that...mad skills by these two. Wow. How many people in that impressively large crowd were thinking that these two are going to be big. Fast forward five years and Sam has recently toured in Canada and U.S. while Ren has reached #1 in the UK. Both are so talented. Thanks for your enthusiastic reaction.
The car park version of blind eyed is fantastic and hilarious and their live mc session of it sounds top notch and is my fav version of it. Also sam tomkins lose it all live !
Check out Sam's solo song Lose It All! Also, Ren and Sam's original song Blind Eyed is amazing. The MC Sessions version has the best sound, but the Angry Car Park Attendant version is great as well. (Some reactors do them back to back in one reaction.)
Sam's ok. A bit of a one trick pony for me and frequently flat or off-key but... people are easily impressed by people singing in a high register, amost to the exclusion of every other vocal consideration... You'll find a Sam or two, in every tv talent show going. You won't find a Ren there. Ren's on another level entirely, even if we're just talking vocals, never mind his seemingly never ending collection of outstanding musical talents! A genius! A once in a generation talent. Ironically, Sam will probably do better than Ren, in terms of money and chart success, as he signed to a major label. In contrast Ren's determinedly independent. No label, no financial backing, no PR machine, no management. Every label under the Sun has tried to sign Ren. He's turned them all down! With Ren, it really is all about the music! :)
I guess that's the beauty of music, there is something for everyone. 😃..When I think about Neil Young, here is a guy who can't carry a note in a bucket, but I love his music. Sometimes it just about style and sound not so much shear talent. 🤷♀
