This is the exact type of build I have been looking for, thank you! Not overpowered, fun and with a theme, makes the game very enjoyable to play. Also I love your builds because its easy to take some inspiration from them and change them around, I started using the erdsteel dagger after seeing your assassin build with it, and because I love parrying I switched one of the daggers out for a small shield with parry, but the dagger R2 still really benefits from multi-hits so you can parry and R2 a boss until you get a stagger, and at that point your riposte will be buffed by the multi-hits so you do big damage. Keep up the good work!
For the holy priest build it’s more optimal to have the erdtree seal in your right hand and the spiral seal in your left and then cast with the erdtree seal for more damage and still get the passive effect from the spiral seal. Erdtree seal also makes hella from afar better
@@tannerkennedy4192 well yes, But I don't want to switch my weapon just to cast a spell, I much prefer the visual of casting spells while I still have the staff in my right hand over being 100% optimal, although I definitely should have mentioned that anyway.
@ that’s cool but me personally i usually either focus completely on the spells or the weapon I’m using trying to split it up and use both just makes it weaker overall
I’ve got a fun one, though, it’s at max level.. Circlet of light Black Knife Chest Prelate Gauntlets Prelate Greaves Erdtree’s Favor Great-Jar’s Arsenal Beloved Stardust Bull Goat’s Talisman Frozen Needle paired w/Carian Sorcery Sword Milady paired w/Rellana’s Twin Blades (Can hold all weapons light load) {quickstep infused cold affinity} [I use Banished Knights Oleg and Engvall for solo expeditions] Perfumed oil of Ranah Spells: Loretta’s Mastery Adula’s Moonblade Carian Piercer Gavel of Haima (Comet Azur, Meteorite of Astel and Impenetrable Thorns for PVE) Anyone who’s willing, give it a try, I’ve been loving it
I have an alternative armour set for a Spartan build. Same Frejya's altered chest piece, Young Lion's gauntlets and greaves, and Erdtree Knight's helm.
Yeah, you’re forced to play a certain way with limited choices.. 😅 Sorry, but after 1500 hours on multiple accounts ranging from 126, 182, 328 NG +1 and 486 NG +9, you get to enjoy every aspect of the game. To each their own of course, but you should try playing a high level account just to see how strong you can truly be. 😉
@@clankymocha ya, it's definitely strong enough. Weapons: sword of night and flame and staff of the great beyond. Armor: tree centinel armor + circlet of light (moslty for the look). Spells: golden vow, greatblade phalanx, land of shadows, magic glintblade, glintblade trio, knight's lightning spear. Talismans: Rellana's cameo, Alexander's shard, graven-mass talisman, Godfrey's icon. Bottle: magic cracked tear + greenburst crystal tear.
Pls continue to do other original builds! because there aren't a lot of people that do that on TH-cam, there are only the same builds that I've seen a million times.
Really wanna do my own take on a blacksmith god character. Think I’d slap on the the big meteor ultra great sword, the anvil hammer, some smithscript weapons for a full arsenal of stuff that fits the vibe. Anyways great video man.
The original concept for this build was to use the whole arsenal of smithing weapons, but I just couldn't justify using them, they get so many disadvantages, I'm okay with using underpowered ish stuff, the second build is kind of a testament to that but using these isn't even fun to me :( Imo they should really just straight up remove the damage fall off penalty, it's too dumb
@ dude yeah they feel kind of bad on a non status build or something. I feel like the fact that most of the throwing attacks have worse poise damage compared to traditional charged heavies is a perfectly fine trade off for the range. At least the shield is really good but yeah :/.
@@InnocentLock-er6et the bug is only for the weapon art not the spells, and you can see one bleed proc with the weapon art on the divine lion in this video.
@@clankymocha not that bug. I’m talking about holy damage spells not being buffed by talismans or anything that doesn’t change the AR in the stat sheet
Not to be weird but I used something with similiar gear In my last game through.. Role play as a spartan shoutimg FOR SPARTA and raging into the boss room only to have an endurance fight..
@clankymocha blood sucking tear and stance-break tear.. Leda armor no head piece. (pretty character cons) and lastly dlc long axe with special jump Lightning ash of war (p.s. I forgot the name) Talisman were Alexander, jump, lightning scorpion and lastly drake shield..also used the brass shield Not the best but I enjoyed my time with it.. Pseudo valkyrie ..

Thank you, for making such original, fun, and fashionable builds.
thanks for your continued support!
Your blacksmith build gives me dwarf vibes. I like it.
These are very interesting ideas. I really liked the Greek hoplite build. Also the Witcher 3 OST is a cherry on the top

@clankymocha absolutely. I have 200+ hours in that game and it's time for another playthrough

@clankymocha you’re doing the lord’s work. We need to see someone putting a stop to the white mask rakshasa set combo.
Love your builds.
Excellent job and nice format 👌🏻
I've felt a little burnt out on ER but your builds are fire
I’ve got a fun one, though, it’s at max level..
Circlet of light
Black Knife Chest
Prelate Gauntlets
Prelate Greaves
Erdtree’s Favor
Great-Jar’s Arsenal
Beloved Stardust
Bull Goat’s Talisman
Frozen Needle paired w/Carian Sorcery Sword
Milady paired w/Rellana’s Twin Blades
(Can hold all weapons light load)
{quickstep infused cold affinity}
[I use Banished Knights Oleg and Engvall for solo expeditions]
Perfumed oil of Ranah
Spells:
Loretta’s Mastery
Adula’s Moonblade
Carian Piercer
Gavel of Haima
(Comet Azur, Meteorite of Astel and Impenetrable Thorns for PVE)
Anyone who’s willing, give it a try, I’ve been loving it
For PvP focus, I take out the last 3 sorceries and add Rellana’s Twin Moons
(It combos super well with Gavel of Haima)

Valid point, but with the DLC being so long people are doing PVP at 200 so I don't think its unreasonably over leveled. Beyond that is quite OP though
I'm gonna test my Gilgamesh build soon, I think it will deserve a place among these)

Is the holy damage bug only in PvP? I’ve seen someone not use Godfrey icon or canvas talismans with those holy spells saying that they didn’t work
