I’m in Masters 4 with Generaiders of all things, if you can pilot it, you can play it. Gonna miss this when Kash format hits, but I’m also learning ninjas so I don’t feel like it will go too bad.

I think a lot of people aren’t running expurrely happiness because they are super tcg-pilled. It will almost never come up in that format where delicious is at 1 (so not searchable via my friend, meaning you’re reliant on the rank 2 happiness to search it after battling), but it’s a much more consistent otk in MD since you can make plump in MP1 easily and aren’t susceptible to chainables in the battle phase. Most hands that can do the rank 2 otk line can still do the rank 7 line - it’s won me a bunch of games, and even more noticeably I’ve won a number of games vs Purrely where they would have had game by making Expurrely Happiness but they weren’t running it.

ExPurrely Happiness won me a game vs Chaos Angel by simply getting big enough to swing over it a bunch of times + burn damage. Happiness OTK is good but vs high attack stat monsters it's really difficult to setup, especially if you can't get the attack drop. ExPurrely Happiness allows for OTKs vs Towers and big beaters and negating the whole field goes crazy with Street protecting from targeting. Genuinely slept on card.

here's the thing about labrynth. Every time it's rank at tier 1, people will start main deck again the backrow hate. and since tear is gone, duster and lightning storm will be good again. it's a good deck but labrynth itself is always tough to find win with all these backrow hate they gonna receive, so i'm putting em at tier 2 in my opinion

It’s BO1 cheese that can’t do anything going first, rarely otk’s on an empty board, and even going second isn’t particularly consistent. I don’t think it belongs in tier 2 imo

Been awhile i didn't see runick spright in high rank, this combo is well synchronise with each other
First Mdc W, and second, one deck imo worth mentioning that you didnt mention is codetalkers. It doesnt have alot of engine slots for turn 2 and is normal summon dependant, but can play through ALOT. It can just kinda keep going through interrupts. More importantly tho it consistently sets up iblee lock and 1 deck on this list has an easy out. Mathmech. Every other deck needs to crash it or normal summon and link it off, so firewall with 2 bounces works really well. Floo could be a problem but normally there are enough interuptions to beat it. Look up lifepointtaker or my list on mdm and theres a few replays and explanations for the deck there if youre interested
Duality swordsoul has been working out for me so far but i understand its a very occasionally brick

Just because dragoon is not in master duel atm, in TCG I play swordsoul with duality and with the iris swordsoul you can summon dragoon off duality

Purrely has kind of stepped above the metagame. It's not running away with the metagame like Tearlaments did, but it's putting up numbers better than the rest of the field if I go by MDM.

Ninjas needed to go higher. I been slapping purrely with them. Terrors in hidden city. Plus a flipped Jiho, plus Meizen is a dorect attack nightmare 😂
Add Ninjitsu Art of Super-Transformation (UR trap)
Use it to summon Albaz from deck. Go mirrorjade.
Ive been theorizing with ninjas and I thought about mixing subterrors but I settled in a runic ninja build
I also did the albaz play. Very cool. Ninja is a high skill floor deck and high skill ceiling. Not totally sure what the full power level is. I think a very skilled player with a good deck list could be tier 1 deck for sure.

This format is quite interesting you don't knie what to expect. I made it to master 2 then absolutely tilted after that back at master 5 and stating there. When in master 3 I noticed that's when the chaos ensues I could set up a good board only for my opponent to get every single card they need even after I play through negates they can have three cards two cards heck even one card and still clean my board up 😂. Oh well not as devasting for me as last season where I needed only one win to hit master 1 for the first time. Not sure if I even want to attempt it again 😂

Rikka Sunavalon is my pet deck but I must say I think it feels better than it is on master duel. Even in master 1 people will ash dryas instead of the sowing. There's absolutely no reason to ash dryas instead of sowing. Sowing is just a better ash target in pretty much any conceivable scenario.
I try to be critical about the deck because I know I'm biased in favour of it. I love it and it often feels very good. But if I'm being realistic it's probably tier 3. If people actually knew what to hand trap it'd be much more of a struggle.
I'm loving playing Galaxy-Eyes right now. I mean it's honestly so good at the moment I've beaten Kas/Tear, Purrely, Stardust Bots, Runick, Sprite. The damage that deck puts out is truly crazy and it's all off a one sometimes two card combo. Maybe not tier 1 but it's very close.

I got to Diamond in a few hours starting from Silver with my Drytron deck. I can tell you that i steamrolled most of the decks here, with the exclusion of some which i still havent encountered. I steamrolled Branded-Despia, Swordsoul, Ninja, Labyrinth, Sprights and Purrely. I think i've met like 10 Purrely decks up until now and not one of them was able to win against my deck. It was surely not too easy to win but they just couldn't do much and either lost or surrendered everytime. I'm not saying that Drytron is the top of meta, but given my statistics (100% win-rate against Purrely on 10 matches is a lot and a good 70% win against Lab and Despia) I think it should be at least in one of the tiers rows.
I'm at platinum 5 currently with exclusively Ninja deck, I started playing a week ago. This is a fun deck when it took off!

But seriously, why are people still playing dragon link in master 1? Stop tryharding and play ninjas. You can’t derank even if you want to. Just go play some fun deck.
branded is tier 2 at least BTW can you try spright-purrely? So far Im also using it and it is so consistent sometimes it doesn't ending with noir but the turn 1 end board is so good and card advantage is crazy it doesn't really lose to interruptions aside from droll, and so far I only lose to mikanko because of misplay.

Thats why runic ninja is good. You can use your rubic card to discard jiho then use your trap to summon your minster negate and 2 fusions then you use your other trap to tribute 1 of your fusion main deck monster and summon cannon and cannon will revive jihoh in face down and then when u monater negate you can flip jiho then fusion into your banish with your last fusion ninja

Yeah, P.U.N.K is one the of stronger decks of the format imo. They play Kash engine in the deck now.

Honestly labrynth I think has slid to tier 2. Ash hurts it too much and it can’t sustain card advantage. Mathmechs and cyberse are definitely tier 2; bystials, ash, and calledby ruin superfactorial. Naturia/runick and Purrely are definitely tier 1.

@@MasterDuelCentral both changradier and torbie both discard to set up a welcome. You need cooclock just to make it live during the turn you set it. So you essentially go Neg 3 just to set up a pop that can be stopped with an ash. Why do you think they released Butler? It literally is one for one!

Sword soul, Tierlaments, and Galaxy Dragon are very annoying and busted, I personally run the most annoying deck (Numeron Winged Dragon of Ra) and have been having loads of fun climbing ladder, while still losing a healthy amount of times, overall very good and balanced meta
Mathmech really punishes you for adjusting to purrly. I shaved 4 of my deck's hand traps for a 2-2 split of kaijus and herald of the abyss. This decision has definitely felt like a net positive in the format but it makes the mathmech matchup a lot worse. If you play against mathmech going 2nd board breakers won't help you at all but I think they're more important than hand traps against the rest of the field. So I guess that's a major plus for mathmech in this meta. It dodges all the hate the other decks get.

Just a small nitpick, you said Shuraig can be triggered more than once and thus banish more than once in opps turn, both of his effects are hard once per turn.
Shuraig effect on summon, shuraig effect on opponent turn when elf summons a monster. Sorry for.wording.poorly

marincess is best for climb and you can use with tear and other ciberse or sirene. This tier list don't have best decks in this format.
@masterduelcentral slightly. Bf at 1 is tuff but interrupting branded's normal summon doesn't just win most of the time like it does marincess without their 2 extenders. Branded can make plays without fusion resolving too, if you can't link with marincess its joever

I agree matchmech is at least tier 2 because they lose to bystial and dragon link is so crazy right now also it lose to a freaking branded because of bystial and ending up with fluid turn 1 with a trap doesn't really give a free win because fluid is a beat stick.

Orcust is fine but the ceiling of the deck is too low to compete with the current metagame. Marincess has this problem too but it has a bunch of one card combos that allow Marinsus players to play a million handtraps to compensate for that. I think orcust has potential as an engine but there isn't a deck that can use them very effectively yet, maybe in the future they can pair well with SuperHeavy, i remember that being a thing before they killed SHS on the banlist.

Honestly have not lost to a single Mikanko player yet I don’t understand the hype. More importantly tho, I think Floo needs to go a lil more unchecked on the banlist. It is by far the most beginner friendly and meta deck available. Really only needs a structure deck in game to go with it.

I feel like branded is between 1-2, damn 3?!?! 🫠
Compared to nearly everything else meta relevant, it's pretty bad. It's barely the best deck in the current event right now. It loses to the same shit other decks lose to AND more. You cannot run handtraps in the deck if you don't want to brick half of the time. Handtraps are too good this meta to not run. The in-engine removal is subpar in the current metagame. Back in the branded/swso meta a long time ago in MD it was absolutely strong, now, with all the consistency hits to the deck coupled with its mediocre boards it really isn't anything much. I play the deck a ton, and can say with certainty that it's just, borderline bad, ranked ladder wise.
The event is a good flashback to how it performed at its peak in MD.
It's literally a deck that somehow, loses to both ash and maxx c. Evenly, control decks like lab, any form of floodgate, multiple negate boards, towers, you name it. While at the same time the only time you will ever output enough to win a game is if you draw your patchwork+allure+your starter.
I'm playing a game as we speak, and this guy is taking so long to play I have time to type this. He's going through his whole decks and I still haven't had time to play yet. They ruined the game he's still drawing cards. It's turn one and it's boring a.f like you should not be able to go through your entire deck on turn one. He's still playing as we speak. Turn one its like I came online just to watch him use cards. Like what had this game come too. They ruined this game its made for ppls who don't have critical thinking two thumbs down 👎🏾👎🏾. (he's still playing) 😒 I just recorded that entire game just to prove my point. The game is done and I haven't even played yet? Like how is that a duel? 🥱🥱🥱🥱 They ruined the game.
