Honey I Shrunk the Audience was one of my favorite attractions! When Adam picked the theater up, your seat actually shook! That little detail was amazing to me. That was the Disney difference
I would love to see them move Muppet Vision 3D into the Magic Eye Theater at Epcot. If the air bags in the floor still work, they would be an amazing addition to the explosion at the end of the show. I think Figment and Kermit would be good neighbors in the Imagination Pavilion. We also need a major ride upgrade for Figment. I remember the original ride as my favorite thing in EPCOT. They keep selling his merch, so they know he is a money maker.
My kids were enthralled by the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground and were even selected to "ride" the bee during the backlot tour. Thanks Jim for looking back at the excellence that was.
I love HISTA! It is the all-time best of 3-D immersive theaters. I'm terrified of snakes and rodents, but it was so much fun! It's a shame it had to go!
I loved both Captain EO & Honey in Disneyland Paris. They brought Captain EO back in around 2010-2011 for a short time. It was great to see it again as an adult having seen it as a teen in the 90s. The Donald Duck symphony was in that theatre when I last went in 2023.
Hoping they keep the moving theater in whatever the replacement is!! The more you think about it the more incredible a technical achievement it is Could easily see a Cranium Command reboot themed to Inside Out in that theater, with some huge animatronics surrounding the screen And then hopefully they can keep Figment nearby (please Bob Figment sells merch)
Now that Skelton Crew is such a big hit and fuzzball was in a episode why can't captain eo return??????? If your not going to fix tomorrow land for another 10 plus years at least return the things we like.......
