I'll take their "not so on point" live anyday! Their "not so on point" moments are usually very rare. Not easy to sing on point when the choreography is hard.

I love this song, Key's eyes look so full of anger when he sings it though... the song says who waits for love, I can't blame you for leaving me, who waits for love the problem is with me who loved you... So it is a song of regret more than hope I think... Still it is my favorite from the first album. I wish they did this one as a single instead of Good evening, I stopped listening to it and now I got hooked again because of this reaction, it is my third time watching your video...
Shinee are terrible lipsyncers! Which is why they mostly sing live, lol. Even their debut was live, which is unheard of, no pun intended. And yes, definitely be your authentic self!!
At times it is not the performer's fault to lipsync and at times it is necessary, it is needed because they are sick, because they have had too many concerts and they need to give a perfect performance, the TV station needs to sell ad revenue so the show has to be perfect they don't tell the artist they do it with the managers, they do it in Korea, they cut pieces of the performances and edit them together, check big Bang's Alive and check GD, so it is not a bad thing if they do it every once in a while. Singing is bad for the vocal chords, they could get damage so they need to rest them too... Poor Lee Hong Ki had to sing live after 3 concerts, he was so sick and he messed up so badly people keep on bringing it up even though it happened in 2008, he fainted after it, still people think it was funny. So lipsync at times is a necessary evil. Adele had vocal chord damage when she was 21 or 23 years old. You need them for at least 35 to 40 years to sing, damage at 21 shortens your career by 20 years so she is not going to be around when you hit 50.
@@everuby4787 oh yeah, I'm definitely not saying they're bad at singing or anything, and we all want Jinki to be extra careful now. I didn't know that about the tv shows though! Remember back in the early days when the sound at live shows was terrible? They still powered through amd sounded amazing despite it all. SHINee - legends! 😊💗
@@TheHekateris yes, TV shows use autotune even contest shows like King of Masked singer and Immortal songs 2 etc, in the US too and all over the world, even on Dimash the best voice in the world they use autotune at some shows, so it is because people want perfection, before when we didn't have that singers used to sing live with a band and you hear the sound as it should be, I don't know if it was terrible, I think it was real, but they kept pushing and pushing till it is all fantasy. Shinee are legends and their concerts and their lives and voices are still the best in the business and we all with good ears can recognize that, there are people with no musical ear out there who can't identify good sound from bad... That is sad because anyone can pose as a singer now a days and people follow him or her.
