- This video shows all idle animations in the Donkey Kong Country Series, starting in 1994 with Donkey Kong Country for the SNES and going up to 2018 with Tropical Freeze for the Switch.
This channel features transformative & instructional video game guides, walkthroughs, speedruns & many other unique video creations. My own personal creative input, gameplay and editing are clearly added into each video to ensure that all videos adhere to TH-cam's partner program guidelines. All gameplay is my own & is recorded and edited solely by me. Permission to upload each game was provided by the game publisher.

I like that Diddy and Dixie remember their musical talents from Country 2! Dixie was still on her guitar but looks like Diddy's vocals have moved on from Monkey Rap.

I love how Cranky just sits and reads the newspaper while DK plays his game instead of watching him play like Diddy and Dixie.
Gotta love how they changed up the Tropical Freeze idle animations for DK depending on what version you're playing.
Last one definitely the best one.

@@Danny-os1sf I've never had trouble with the 3DS buttons, although that may be because I have very small hands. I'm nearing my 30s and I bet I can still fit in the largest size of kids gloves. 😅
Wha?!?! How did I miss half of these?! Cranky was generally a little too jolly for me in Tropical Freeze but watching him and DK in the Switch version reminds me of SNES manuals!

I find it odd that Diddy Kong is given a new idle animation in DKC2, but his old one from DKC1 is removed, leaving him with only 1 idle animation whilst Dixie gets 2.

Dude, you forgot the animal buddy idle animations! I know everyone loves and remembers DKC2 more, so people probably don't even realize that the idle animations were removed for some reason in DKC2 and were actually a thing in DKC1.
