I have been reciting Quran Alhamdullah cover to cover in Arabic every 7 days for the past 20 years right after I graduated from High School in West Africa. Interestingly enough , I learn tajweed for a year while i was in 12 grade. I never learn Arabic language and up to today i don't the meaning of what i am reciting but i know spiritually , its uplifting reciting every verse. Now I am 40 years old, I want to start learn Arabic so I can understand the meaning of the Entire Quran. My Ustads used to scare me about anything regarding Quran, from reciting it my own, to learning the English Translation as mention my the Sheihk Dr Sohaib. Thank you for bringing these decade long issues millions of muslims are facing regarding to the teaching of Quran.
Personally, my relationship with the Quran and Islam changed massively when I first read the Quran in English from cover to cover. Highly recommend it. I'm still trying to learn arabic to appreciate it in its original form but it's great to be able to access english translations (my fave is The Clear Quran) and tafsir etc in the meantime!
Asalaam aliekum, great video and some really interesting points discussed. For me, the prophets seerah was my stepping stone and introduction to the Quran. I believe the best of generations use to teach the seerah and give it as much importance as the teaching of Quran (please correct me if im wrong). From the Seerah I can place myself somewhat to that time when and why verses were revealed... this has helped me greatly when reading the english translation of Quran. Also, listening to the Quran being recited and reading the English translation at the same time, I found this to be most impacting.
I am familiar the type of content Shaikh Sohaib offers, so I understand the context of the title of this video. But many, including some who are very strict with new things in Islam, they will feel negative about the title.
I recently discovered Quran reflect and I absolutely enjoy posting my thoughts and see other people’s perspective . It gave me so much confidence and empowered me to actually do tadabbur without having advanced fiqh or other scholarly sciences . Allah bless everyone who made it possible for people like me to be having such an incredible platform . Jazakallah Khair to all developers , moderators everyone who is involved .

I think both who emphasize only the Arabic text and those that emphasize the meaning are kind of extreme ends why can't we do both?
Of course, let’s do both.

Is the thumbnail him? He looks so different in thumbnail!! Is it AI Generated? I stared at that pic for so long. I’m almost sure it’s not Saeed
S sounds are really sharp and kind of hurt the ear. Maybe it’s the mics? Can you all check this?
Things were fine for me, are you sure it's not the speakers or headphones you are using?
