yeah i was just gonna point the same think. U can hear the nervous breathing of wise which is very well done and paired with the smooth animation feels very human while belle's panic is for comedic purpose
One thing that people have apparently overlooked as well is that if Belle isn't Fairy's Master, then she's scared for Wise, but if Wise isn't Fairy's Master, then he looks like he's in agony when he realizes this time he couldn't protect his lil sister
It shows for both ends too! Belle as Fairy's Master is a nervous wreck but Wise looked like he was in utter anguish that he couldn't protect her until Qingyi showed up. But Wise as Fairy's Master looks like he's barely keeping his cool and just remembering to breathe, while Belle looked scared for him.
I like the detail that, if Belle is the Second Assistant/Deputy Manager, she's terrified just before Qingyi shows up. But if it's Wise, he looks like he's in genuine anguish, like big bro realizes the pain that he couldn't protect his lil sister
I really like wise's panic. he's not calm at all, but he *is* the big brother. the way he reacts is very akin to how older siblings deal with these things when their youngers are at risk

Since she got access and control of the H.D.D. in the prologue, the siblings said that the electricity bill skyrocketed (which is also the reason why they desperately wanted an expensive commission in Chapter 2); it seems that even turning the H.D.D. off doesn't help much because Fairy would still continue processing and elaborating on her own.
Second floor or basement is more sus, it's obviously something to check when searching. If you wanna hide something, you put it in the open kind of deal. But having some kind of special lock or an actual storage space in-between would help.
My favourite part of this scene is the Zhu Yuan raised eye brow that screams louder than a drill sergeant “Are you f*’ing serious?! Stand to attention when your superior officer addresses you!!” 😁
Not that they have much space for all those TVs behind the H.D.D. system anyway lol. In general, their store is pretty small so no matter where they would put their illegal stuff, there's always the minor/major risk that someone would find out. And considering how much the siblings have been into Proxy activity without ever getting caught even prior to the game's events, I would say that this scene was probably the first time a major inspection like this ever happened.
Storage room is a pretty nice disguise tho, personal space on the second floor is much sus. But yeah, it was my first thought when I started the game, like at least have some kind of buffer zone in between!
That reminds me, they have a room in the parking lot that they lost the key for, that could have been a not half bad place to store the HHD if they didn't lose the key. But my own nerves would kick in having that HHD outside rather than inside.
Both are clearly shook. Belle is cute! I feel bad for saying that, she's just so shaky and clearly just panicking internally. Happy I chose her just to see that scene first time. Wise though, he hits a bit harder. Everyone's saying hes all stoic but that shaky breath really hit home for anyone who had a bit of a panic attack.
Belle expresses her stress outwards, she is shaking and struggling to keep calm by showing a poker face, you can clearly see her distress. Wise on the other hand shows his stress inwards, he seems calm and collected but his breathing gives him away, you need to pay attention to notice he ain't calm at all and only putting up a "fake" sense of not panicking.
Belle's reaction had me laughing my ass off when I played that part! The comedy in Zenless is pure gold, especially when combined with its goofy animation style!
I let out an audible laugh watching Belle shaking...VERY funny...I felt for her though, that seems like a world ending scenario for someone operating outside the law and would probably induce just as much stress as she portrayed...but the animation...cracked me UP! All in all this entire patch was fantastic imo with the GLARING negative of them not having Lycaon's voice actor doing his lines and thus murdering my immersion. Provided that's fixed in the future (clearly the voice actor strike was felt all over hoyo, I noticed it with Himeko in Star Rail as well) it shouldn't be TOO big a deal, I just hope that Hoyo understands that they got talented people to do these roles and they've delivered in their jobs, so if their demands are CLOSE to reasonable, they should likely be met by company making millions upon millions each month from a playerbase who they're currently cutting corners with. Admittedly though, animators and the cast of voice actors still working were fantastic in this patch. All the groups being represented throughout the story was a really great way to close out this chapter of the story. I will say, I generally enjoy WuWa more, but with the way this came together, I'm slightly more interested in ZZZ's future stories being that they don't have EVERY character doting on the MC quite like WuWa does.

well, basically, like the other guy said, they are "proxies", which means they're illegal hollow explorers in the game's world hollows are basicaly giant spheres created by the condensation of etheric material, anyone caught in one of those will basicaly be trapped in a labyrinth which can change any moment depending on the etheric activity inside there are official groups like HIA which organizes legal hollow operations with professionals to rescue people or cargo lost inside the hollows, also to combat the ethereals (creatures born from ether activity that can only survive inside a hollow) and control the hollow (kill enough ethereals = decrease ether activity, and if done enough, it destroys the hollow itself) then there are proxies, which are basically people who explore and guide activities inside hollows but in an illegal form, they do multiple services just like HIA does, but usually quicker and without lots of red tape, even if it might be more expensive the story quest of the version 1.4 goes through an election period in New Eridu, where patrols are everywhere and so it gets to the situation shown in this cutscene, where some cops are patroling 6th Street (where the siblings' video store is located at) and they almost find out that the two are proxies (also about proxies, not all of them work to help people like the siblings do, most of them work as mercenaries, using their tech to attack companies and/or people, thus why the government hunts them down so harshly)
