Beautiful! I love the spontaneity of this watercolour form! On the mountains on the right it looked as though a mist was rolling in toward the valley. Lovely effect!
Putting in the yachts were like adding icing to an already delicious cake, also love the luminous look the light area gives to the water, smashing....Can I just take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Happy Christmas Dave, and to thank you for all your hard work you have put in to produce these videos for us over this last year , I have learned so much from yourself and Alan , and now that I have just finished my last commissioned work today for this year, its my time now so I am going to try and master that bless'ed hake brush ,whatch this space , (you may have to whatch a while ) lol!!.....hope Freddy doesn't try and climb you Chrismas tree , if you have one!!
That worked out very nicely. You may use the same equipment and style as Stevan Cronin but you have your own ideas and you keep producing plenty of tutorials which people can take from or leave. So, thank you, enjoy lunch and a very happy Christmas to you.
Thanks Dave. You Steve and Alan continue to keep me trying to better myself and after watching this I will keep trying the hake. All the best.

Yes, Dave! Watching it right now! You and Steven are my two favourite artists! Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Another beautiful painting Dave
Really does demo just how effective the hake is in keeping it simple with no fussing, other brushes may tempt one to do the opposite. Thanks, Dave.

Brilliant Lakeland scene, thank you Dave. I've watched Stephen Cronin, he's brilliant too isn't he.
Beautiful light.
Very nice, thank you for this demo.
You're welcome Lawrence, thanks for going back and digging this one out. :)
Nice one Dave 👍 Merry Christmas to you and yours 🎄
I must admit it does resemble Stevens last painting quit closely, but it does look good, the shadows and the hills look really vibrant.

Love the way you work down this picture Dave, building depth as you go. Any fish in that water?
