- A rare trip to my home lake ends up being a great day fishing. I don't fish here very often in summer because it is a very busy lake and super shallow. This was a late July evening in the middle of the week and right after a storm system so the weather was nice and mild which had the fish on fire! Cast after cast they were tearing my grub up, nothing huge but 3 hours of total fish catching fun!

Tried tonight no luck. Are you anchored shallow or deep, how close to the green buoys
What jig head are you using? Weight and hook size? Thanks
Never mind I rewatched the video and you say it in there. I just missed it the first time
Appreciate you checking it out.
Nice fishing day. I haven't been up to any of your lakes yet but I hope to catch you out there some day.
Yessir, appreciate it!
Just subscribed 🤙🏽.
Thanks!
@@MesserFishingTV check my channel out .🤙🏽
Hey nice video, and nice fish 🐟. Are you fishing 🎣 during the week, I don't see a lot of boat traffic 🤔 keep up the good videos
Yessir, I try to get out weekday evenings and I work 4 10s.
Damn good day on th water
Are you able to use your main motor to get out from the launch? I have a 17' Lund deep V and just trying to figure out if I can make it out there, not a spring chicken anymore in handling the boat by myself, Lol ;) I alway's enjoyed fishing Bass Lake. By the way Great Video My Friend always enjoy watching them. And thank you for sharing what bait you are using.
I have a smaller boat so I don't have an issue launching. Just have to trim up the motor until I hit the deeper water.
Thank You partner and again Thank You Always for the Great Info.
very cool. how deep you think they are right now? might hit it monday.
Just depends on time of day and what weather is doing. Hope for windy conditions
What depth do you normally fish in say late summer early fall?
I always start shallow and move deeper until I find fish.
