Worst thing about these EMH hoists is that they use the hoist frame as a guide for the rope guide fingers.If your lucky when someone side loads it the fingers will snap off if your not they won't snap off but will deform the metal that's usually the case with most EMH hoists that I repair I have to reshape the metal with a torch. There should be a redesign with a replaceable guide bar instead.
You have got to be playing...since when does it takes two guys to replace a rope guide????? I do this everyday 20, 30, 40....feet in the air, by myself. They're on the ground with two guys...this is laughable.

Done, our new generartion EG hoist has the bar that the rotation stop runs on.

I change 50 ton rope guide and there is no way you do that by yourself
This place is a complete shit show. Worked there for 6 months when I moved to Cleveland Ohio. Amateur hour for sure
