I just realized that I listened to this song back four years ago, I just lost my baby brother, went into a severe depression and anxiety, I had two suicide attempts, I was holding onto this song as my lifeline. Fast forward to this year, I relapsed, self harm and suicidal thoughts and tendencies, I had another attempt last month, just over a month ago now, and my life has significantly changed for the better now. It’s crazy that it’s all happened since I turned nine, I’m thirteen almost fourteen now.

This reminds me of the first time i gave my life to Jesus, for almost my whole life i dealt with severe depression and anxiety. One day i decided that i had enough so i attempted suicide. That day i heard Jesus say "you are loved" and i broke down in tears. That day i gave everything to God and now i am completely healed. There's not a day that goes by that i am thankful for all the things he's done for me, even saving my life

I have been raised In a Christian home and was saved as a young child but as I've gotten older I've really struggled with anxiety , panic attacks and depression and those things bring me down so low that I start to doubt and question my relationship with God and if I'm even saved and I get really depressed. Hi Sarah, I once was in a place where I really needed Jesus more than ever. I was really going through it. All I was ever told was to just believe, but that wasn't enough to get through those times.. God began dealing with me and showed me there is more than just believing. We can know Him deeper and know He is with us and know we're walking in His will for certain.. Acts 2:38 is the best thing that's ever happened to me, I repented, I got my sins washed away by the precious blood of Jesus in His precious name and He filled me with His Spirit just as the scripture says. I suppose this is my favorite thing about god. I'm having a similar experience. And the truth is that god has been with me, which is what helps me out. It's important to remember that God is not limited, and His power is much greater - by far exceeds - any mistake we ever make. Obviously let's not go into something planning wrong, but our mistakes don't hinder Him. He's so mighty, and He will gladly set us back on track.
Just because you've made a mistake doesn't mean God would ever give up on you or that your purpose has been voided. Remember David and Bathsheba, and look at all the Israelites went through. Sin brings judgment and God is just, but both were still victorious because they repented! God remains loyal to us. PUT HIM FIRST!

I have a disease. They believe MS. I cant have an mri due to i had to have a stimilator implanted in me a few years ago. I dont have an official diagnosis yet. Anyway. The past year i have lost the use of my right leg completely. A few days ago my left leg started with same early symptoms as right one started with. I had so much fear. For a couple days i battled fear and cried over all that I have lost. Then i said to myself my God is good and whatever the reason im going through this i will trust in him. I told my friend and husband this. Today my husband came home from work and said. Becky listen to this song its all that you said. I cried through the whole song. It touched me right where i am at. This is the truth I'm standing on!

So on the of chance she actually reads this comment, I have to share that I was diagnosed with cancer in Feb '21 and this song has been carrying me through these brutal treatments. I'm on my eighth round of chemotherapy this week and today this song still lifts me up the same way as it did last year and gives me the hope to see the other side of this treatment. God is good, this is all his plan and he will be with me the whole way.

It's been a year ago when we went into lockdown. I thank God for his protection and comfort during the times where many lives were lost, job losses and the pain of not being with family and friends but we pulled through. Devin, yes hun, God has purpose for everything. Purpose through out life. Lessons throughout our journey in life. The God may not directly cause pain in my life. He teaches us things throughout things we go through and throughout those journeys he teaches us to have faith in him through strength and faith that he can get us through and will pull us through those things. It is faith without sight without being able to see his presence near us but knowing he is with us that faith pulls us through. That’s all I mean honey. I hope that clarifies it for you. Needed this tonight
I've been going through a pretty hefty heart break recently. I've cried out countless times now to let God have them come back, even though it's so unlikely now. I've been in despair as I've realized how much I really care for them, and just what I have lost. Suddenly so many future worriments I had of them don't matter anymore. All there is is pain. I wonder what God is going to do. I wonder why He has let this happen to me, for I just know we could have been good together. I know more than ever I want to get married and have a family...this song, it describes pretty much everything. I thank you so much for this song! It's something my heart can take rest in and know that God is near. I've felt Him hold my heart in a few situations in all this, now I am helped even more to trust Him a little more each day that He has a plan for me. And one day, however long it takes, I will look back on this pain, and see God's plan in all of it.
