Most TH-camrs who specialize in bootlegs usually discuss how awful they are as ripoffs, so it's nice to hear a discussion about whay they exist- and it's also fun to see that the bootleg market has been evolving from duplicating existing toys to evolving into something far more creative than the ofically toymakers would ever greenlight these days.
Great figures, definitely the best Kaiju bootlegs that have been made in Mexico.

Besides Xenozilla's light up feature being just a thing Mexican bootlegs have, it can also look like he's charging up his atomic breath or he's in Hong Kong. Also, nice Spaceballs reference when you turned Predakong's waist around

Now THIS is what I'm looking for with unofficial merch. Creativity, originality, a truly unique item that you can't get from the actual, officially licensed stuff. Not ugly, poorly painted, crap versions of the already iffy stuff. And there's SOOOOO many bootleg Simpsons toys out there that just give you something amazing. Skeletor Bart and Beast Man Nelson Muntz? Wonderful.
Watching Zilla light up, like now all I want to do is play like some 90s club jams like " what is love " or 'rhythm of the night".

Thanks for the shout out love being a part of the Mexican American demographic I had a ton of bootleg Godzilla toys that I would buy from the swap meets and I would actually kill for one right now you know like the one that Roseanne has on the background of her living room set

You know, I always kinda wondered what it would look like if a facehugger somehow happened to infect Godzilla. This...is pretty close to how I pictured it.
And since both characters exist in the Dark Horse universe, this is canon!!
And Godzilla can regenerate so it can happen without him dying

I went into this video ready to see how subpar the figures are so consider my eyes widened to see bootleg toys actually well done! Definitely opened my eyes that’s for sure!
Wow. These are freaking awesome. I need to try and get hold of these. Don't think I could match the paint job, but I'd give it a go.
These are around the same scale as most Xenomorph and Predator figures, so while a little bulky, their molds and custom paint jobs here fit the role perfectly for a Zillafied Xenomorph and an actual primitive Predator design
Not going to lie, these are pretty gnarly looking figures.
I was already really digging the Xenozilla as you were showing it, but the light up feature is right up my alley. I'm a sucker for multi-color light-up anything.
Mexican toys have improved immensely since I was a kid. I grew up in Douglas Arizona, which neighbors Aqua Prieta on the opposite sides of the port of entry. I remember cheap molded Lucha Libra figures and hollow plastic dolls, which often doubled as bootleg super heroes or luchadors. Back then, Mexican toys were visionless knockoffs. These have the most passion of any Mexican toy I have ever seen.

I was born in the US but our family moved to Mexico for a few years while I was very young. Before were we went back to live in the US, growing up in Mexico i always wanted the big brand American toys that people bought in Walmart, but due to location and financial issues I never got the licensed toys I wanted growing up so I had to settle with bootlegs. As a kid I really fucking liked these bootlegs because of how creative they were, I’m a huge Alien and Predator fan and I had bootleg predator toys that had ALL the accessories; from blades, plasma casters, and 7 different bio masks that fit the same head mold. Now after watching this video it had made appreciate my old toys even more. Now after watching this video I’m sad because all my old toys that I left in Mexico are lost and at least I get to keep the memories of me recreating both PREDATOR and PREDATOR 3 with my imagination.
MIB, Add these two to your series!! I would love to see some kind of threat from them on your world!

Like MIB said , these figures were specially painted for this video by the manufacturer himself , so don’t go thinking that what you get if u did order this toy will look like the products shown , you aren’t a TH-camr who is doing a review of the toys so they won’t give u the same treatment , I’m glad MIB made it clear in his video , so that some people won’t end up feeling cheated

Huh. I see a lot of these sorts of Mexican Bootlegs in this one local collectible toy store, and there is a lot of creativity in 'em.
I do wonder if these creators have ever considered, like, selling these without paint at a markdown for folks to paint on their own, ala Warhammer miniatures, cause I guarantee you that a lot of people would love that.
I also wonder if they take commissions now. Or if they'd want to work with, like, 3d printed stuff to make molds, cause on the latter I'd have _ideas_...

I just literally found out about these bootlegs an hour ago during a random scrolling through EBay, these showed up and mind you, I am a picky collector. I immediately bought these both. This guy is doing great work.

When I was a huge fnaf fan growing up I really appreciated a toy Freddy I bought in Mexico. It had rgb lights, removable face and a good paint job

It would be funny if they strapped a hollow log on Predakong's shoulder which could fire small rocks like a primitive version of the Predator's plasma caster

The skeletal shoulder strap on Predakong’s shoulder already reminds me of Skar King in the new GxK movie coming out.
Maybe you should ask him to make a xenozilla that doesn’t glow also a ball joint on the tail so that he can kind a look like he’s swimming

Sorry to disappoint you guys, my MIB variant came and they don’t look like what you see here. Clearly these guys did great work for MIB, but won’t put the same time and effort for other customers.
I know this because I have three Predakongs vs Xenozillas and I requested each one to look like the ones here. Yet they all look different.
Still waiting an email response from the company on why that is, but I would only recommend purchasing if you have your own colour schemes you want to add or just don’t care what you get.

Fun Fact: I Actually Created a "Predakong" of my own couple years ago (2018); though that creation was combined with Takkong (Return Of Ultraman, yes Iˋm Serious) and your all-time favorite Yautjas.
