It should have similar power as your built 7.3 but weigh a lot less. It's going to be our family adventure rig for the next 20 years when maybe I'll have to rebuild it again :)

can't ever have too many mods
Break at the credit card 🤑
I do the same stuff in my 95 centurion 7.3, jeep people think I'm crazy haha
The OG Excursion 😎
@@freedomworx those are rare
@@BustedKnuckleVideo And can get pricey for a nice one 😄.
What kind of swing mount and tool box is that?
Buckstop
Buckstop Dual Swing Bumper with Box
2WD low again?
Heck no!!! All the 4wd and all the Lockers!
This one took all the lockers and 4wd 😬
That is one impressive beast and he’s got some big old cojones driving it where he did.
He surprised us for sure.
Peer pressure...
I guess one plus to the 7.3 is it’ll pretty much make it impossible to flip backwards. You have almost a metric ton of turbo v8 over the front axle.
good point. Didn't stop it from lifting a tire though! HA
@@BustedKnuckleVideo I was surprised about that haha
yeah it was super sketchy!
Are the two lads in the back seat mute?
Philbert is just quite. Kyle is a conspiracy theorist, so we edit him out 😂
they throw a word in from time to time. They are not used to being on camera like Me and Jamin are.
That's a nice rig I'm impressed 👍🤘🤙
Thank you sir 👍
it does work
Dude! This is AWESOME! Love the rig. I've built my 02 F250 similarly. What bumpers are y'all running? They're perfect
Buckstop Bumpers

Buckstop bumpers. Thanks!
Might someday do Hells Revenge but I think I'll skip Hells Gate lol. It'll be a while before I get out there and my Ex won't be quite as awesome as yours but nice to know it'll do all that. We're planning front and rear bumpers, a lift and larger tires. Asking with a rooftop tent. I think I'll put in a front tail cam to though lol. Got two kids to get through school, wife is a disabled marine and goes get through transplant so able swaps and steering are not in my list lol. Your rig is awesome though. Can't wait to see what else you guys do.
It is worth the trip for sure
guys, is the front axle installed in stock or is it tuning?
the front axle is a super duty dana 60 we built- th-cam.com/video/mkd_VOoLev8/w-d-xo.html
Front axle tuning?
Man I love what you did to and with this rig. Do you have a complete build list for what you did? Cause I would love to start fixing mine up to do stuff like this. Love the videos on the towverlander!
All the build videos are linked in the description. 👍
Gotta go back and watch the build from the beginning.
“We pooped in the woods” 😂 absolutely epic
In the woods, in Alpine meadows, and even in those NFS building built over a poop hole in the ground. 🤓
I mean it’s part of overlanding right?
It’s the best part of it!
@@the_wandering_brute probably the Number 2 thing in Overlanding.
Ever come to North Carolina check out uwharrie national forest ohv trails
think a rig this big would fit down them?
There was a Excursion there last year did pretty good there from easy to hardcore rock climbing trails
I know of it, just never been there.
@@freedomworx y’all definitely should take the rig out there
