I was once a drug addict for over 16 years, I was in a terrible place in my life back then. I had depression and had attempted suicide twice. I thank him for having Mercy on me when I didn't deserve it. I thank him for saving me and keeping me alive when I overdosed on heroin. His love and Mercy is the only reason I'm still here. I thank him everyday.

My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

I love how they changed the lyric “you assume the best of me” to “you perceive the best in me” (just a few times it was sung that new way, I think when Abbie was conscious of it) because assumption implies that God doesn’t know who we are, and that we aren’t new creations… but he “perceives” in that He knows who we are. He knows and relates to us according to our new nature. He doesn’t have to assume anything. We really are born again. It’s subtle but lyrics matter, and I appreciate her attempt to sing it that way!

Grew up in a charismatic church, since age 3 but I was addicted to the lust of the eyes, I was high on insecurity, I was without purpose, just a wondering soul looking for something greater than what we call "life", and then at age 21 I met Jesus Christ once again but what made the difference was that it cost me this time , I left everything for Him and denied myself (reputation, dreams, goals) and I picked up my cross(broke up with gf at the time) and followed Him and He changed my life !! I got to Know God !! (eternal life) you can't put a price on that, heaven is just gonna be a bonus! THANK YOU ABBA FATHER!!!

march has been a difficult month, but jesus is my great restorer!
at the beginning of the month, someone stole things from my car and after leading worship, i was able to get my stuff returned from the police. i also got into a horrible accident a few weeks ago that completely wrecked 3 cars, but jesus saved me and i walked out of the destroyed car with no injuries. i'm in awe once again.

When she starts lettin' it fly at 19:00, my first inclination was to think "man, she's really milking it", and with that thought the Holy Spirit really convicted me and brought me to repentance. He then showed me just how much beauty and power was in that moment of legitimate WORSHIP... for the next few minutes, my entire body was covered with the most 'aggressive' goosebumps I've ever had in my life, rippling across all of my limbs. The Holy Spirit does way, waaaaay more than just give us goosebumps, but I can't remember the last time I had them, and WHAM! It was His way of showing me to look at Him, in ALL of His glory, and remember that He has given us a redemption story!!!

My daddy died and these last 2 yrs have been really bad even before this, but God. He has been everything to me. Hes protected my heart and kept my mond from the grief consuming me. Hes been my protection and i cant even say how grateful. I thank the Lord for bringing back my daughter Crystal from a life of drugs, over a 12 year span. She's 10 days sober and walked herself in a church program in utah to get the spiritual and physical healing she needs. I thank the Lord for being with her all this time and I thank you Jesus for bringing your daughter back to you. Prodigals are coming home just keep praying and believing. I thank and praise the Lord !!

I almost gave up on ministry. Almost four years in and I completely stopped holding services. I kept saying I would have it the next time and then next time would come and I didn’t have them . I was full of depression, resentment and the lies of the enemy . I was full of what I wanted but didn’t have . But God brought me out and now my faith in him is stronger ! And everyone in the ministry was so gracious and didn’t judge me through the struggle❤

Recently got my twins taken by cps next two days later got evicted from my apartment. I was and have been in such a dark spot in my mind & heart, but somehow all this happening to me brought me closer to him. Today marks one week since I’ve been consistent in church and Bible study. I know he knows my life from beginning to finish. So although, these negative thoughts consume my mind, I know somehow he is going to bring my babies back to me. I choose to put all my faith in him knowing he is going to find a way for me.

@@272attwell I’d recommend you and anyone who’s reading this, get to know God so deep by reading the Bible. God’s word is alive, He speaks to you through his Word (Bible). Worship songs are good, but pray for discernment, and watch the lyrics that glorifies God and it’s not just about your emotions. How we view God impacts how we view everything, and our struggles and sin are rooted in a wrong view of God.
The attributes of God reveal three things. They revel His character, our son, and the glorious gospel.

To be honest the song in this video is not how I would say thank you to God. I just stumbled across it and was curious how other people find their own ways of expressing their thanks.
I agree with you that people should be careful that they truly discover who God is. It makes a world of difference.
As someone who tries to follow the way of Jesus. I find my revelation of God through the life of Jesus as portrayed so beautifully in the 4 Gospels. He is the true Word of God and the full revelation of who the Father is. It is so beautiful to me that as God walked the earth those 2000 years ago as a humble human being he never once sort to punish or inflict harm on anyone even those who wanted him dead. He was always loving and filled with compassion...always looking to forgive and never slow to hug and embrace the “sinner”. I am truly thankful that as God hung on the cross dying He was filled with nothing but love and forgiveness towards me.
I encourage you to find a friendship with God through Jesus. He really really loves you!
I good place to start is John 14: 1-11. Then really spend a time reading the Gospels. It’s beautiful.
