I love your monthly wrap ups! My favorite of June was a novella surprisingly: Silver Fox by Kayla Grosse.
I enjoyed the feud quite a bit but the stand out thing for me and the book with the relationship between the father and the daughter
I already had Bourbon and Lies on my TBR after you first mentioned it. Now I guess I need to add Love Unwritten, although I won't be reading it for a while. In July, I'm finally getting to read Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, so I won't be looking for another big book for a while. In June, I read an oldie that really touched my heart, Simple Jess by Pamela Morsi. It was so good!!
My TBR just got much longer. Rearranged my TBR from this one video. 😊 Keep giving the rec's I love popping in to see what to read next. ❤ Starting Bourbon and Lies tonight.

Man I am shocked your stuck with the Lauren Asher cause you don't like slow burns haha But I do love this author so I need to get on this series. Its why I won't ever rec Zapata to you lol. I love God of War! That was a six star read for me. I think its my favorite of the series even. It was tough....you aren't wrong there. But it was delightful and it really just worked for me completely.

How do you watch patreon videos? I currently watch your videos through TH-cam on my television. Can you watch patreon videos on the TH-cam platform or just the patreon app?
You do have to go through Patreon, yes. So that it can verify membership. I wish it could be shared to tvs. I watch most of my TH-cam that way too.
Jen, do I have to read the other God's books to read God of War? 🤗
I highly recommend you read this series in order, yes. Others may say different, but the whole reason the series has the impact it does is the build up.
I agree love God of Fury. I liked Rina's Empire series too, but the rest of them were messy, Thinking about it its probably because I dont like or identify as her female characters, they are usually too messy childish. When I read a book no matter who the male character is the female character is always me. Maybe thats why we like the Fury one because we kinda are in the middle. I did not finish God of War. Also the emphasis they have on mental health today is way out of balance. It is not about tempering or resilience. Going through destructive times is what makes us strong too many young people esp women are highly mentally emotionally and psychologically unstable. too many of Rina's characters reflect that. Plus psychiatrists have become the new charlatans. They dont take about gut health, which is where our immune system is centered as well as many hormones.
